Stayed for 3 nights in triple room with my wife and sister. Pros- close to metro, restaurants, excellent house keeping, clean room, friendly reception staffs where you can store your luggage after checking out. Cons - room was small for 3 people, not very sound proof. Overall pretty good place, will stay again and recommend
A decent hotel for what you pay. The two biggest advantages are 1 the location to Hyde Park and Paddington Station to get in and around London and 2 bag storage! We only stayed for one night, but were able to store luggage almost 10 hours before check in and another 12 hours after we checked out. That really made the price worth it. Staff was also very helpful and friendly.
Good stay in this Lancaster Gate Hotel: excellent location in a quiet part of London, very close to Hyde Park for a good walk, oxygen, pictures of blossoming trees and daffodils. The staff at the desk is helpful and very professional. The cleaning team is making an impeccable work. The Hotel will be renovated soon. Let's hope it will keep his cachet, while making the rooms more soundproof. Overall 5 stars and we clearly recommend it.
This is budget accommodation. But my room was clean and I felt very safe. I had an ensuite toilet which was appreciated. I did not use the shared shower there seemed to be more than one for the whole hotel. There was some noise, particularly the stairs, but nothing that bothered me much. Staff were very nice and helpful. I would choose to stay there again if I needed somewhere near Paddington 30 minute slow walk. Lots of Middle Eastern eateries nearby and more Western choices down Edgeware Road towards the park a few minutes' walk.
