We were in London for three days and this hotel has set the bar for the whole trip! We are a family of four and had two connecting rooms. First off, the hot water and the rain shower head were AMAZING after a long day of sightseeing. The housekeepers kept the rooms spotless. The hair dryer was big and beautiful and way better than most of the tiny dryers you see at other hotels. Every hotel worker that we came into contact with was helpful and courteous. We arrived at 8:30 in the morning and they graciously held our bags all day while we explored and waited for our room to be ready.nnThe hotel is close to several underground stations which made it close easy to hop on and go to our various destinations. The hotel also arranged for our cab to the train station actually walkable but I didn’t want to in the rain.nnBuffet breakfast had a lot of options breads, pastries, pancakes, bacon, eggs, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, coffee, juice. I do wish it had some healthier hot protein options beyond the bacon and pork sausage maybe some turkey bacon or chicken sausagennThe highlight was Luz Marie at breakfast. She was so sweet and delighted in hearing about our family. She spoke beautiful English but the true warmth came when she spoke Spanish with my husband and children. It made me feel comforted to hear a little bit of home and my husband felt it as well.nnThanks for a great stay!
Great location, but the hotel itself is not great. Takes forever to get a lift, and paper thin walls. Can hear full on conversations and slamming doors all night. The beds are not comfortable, and one morning the water just completely stopped working, including not being able to flush the toilet. Would not stay again.
Big shout out to Sravani !nnWe arrived just after midday and were delighted to discover our room was already ready for us. We are staying for the whole weekend before Christmas and the hotel is nicely decorated with Christmas trees etc.nnThe room is spacious, spotlessly clean and the air con is great. Windows also open for fresh air. Lunch in the bar was tasty - the club sandwich is huge! Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and our waitress Sravani was a delight: super friendly and attentive and made a special fuss of my husband on his birthday, arranging for a chocolate dessert, a candle and singing waiters! Breakfast had a good selection of options and was well catered.nnGreat experience at this hotel and would certainly return. Definitely recommend!
Highly recommend. The rooms were spotless and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was lovely and quiet with no noise outside the room, so peaceful.nThe staff were very friendly & helpful.nGreat location, 5 minute walk from tube station & so near Oxford street.nMy only critique is the elevator situation. We would be waiting a long time for it to come and sometimes when it finally did it would be full of people and there would be no room and we’d have to wait even longer. We were lucky the stairs didn’t bother us but people with prams etc should be aware.nApart from that it was a 10/10 experience will definitely be coming back!
I had a fantastic dining experience at the restaurant in the Meliá White House hotel in London! The ambiance was elegant and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Manish and Valentina were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail was taken care of, making our meal even more enjoyable. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly elevated the experience. Highly recommend this place for a memorable meal in a great setting!
