A good location for Oxford shopping and close to a lovely park. We were able to have our luggage checked at the hotelvery busy as we arrived before our room was available.nCheck in was quick and the attendants friendly.nRoom was uninspired and small. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean.nBuffet breakfast was great. A huge variety of tasty food and very attentive waiters.nMain foyer is lovely, but this hotel needs to update their rooms.
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel . I would like to thank Miss Amanda for her kindness and wonderful service during my stay. She was always so friendly, welcoming, and full of positive energy — her warm smile truly made every meal more enjoyable. Obviously it’s a super central location. Staff are good. Breakfast is good. Beds are large and comfy. The bar is a total rip-off but that aside I would recommend this hotel for a short tourist stay in London.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. I would especially like to thank Lia at the reception for her outstanding support. She made the process of finding the right room so easy, and her cheerful attitude and professional manner truly made me feel welcome. Lia’s kindness and excellent service reflect the high standards of the hotel, and I truly appreciate her efforts.
Hallways and rooms are very outdated. The hallways were dark and all the doors looked super old, kind of gives like school library vibes. Completely different from the vibes of the reception. The rooms were big given that it’s London, but everything in the rooms are old. The TV was old and extremely slow. The tub is super high up and honestly a safety issue. I had to hold onto the wall to get out of the tub because the inside of the tub is slippery and you can easily slip while attempting to get out. The towels in this place are so rough and hard that they basically exfoliate my skin when I come out of the shower. The guy at the front desk was not helpful and kept repeating the same things to me even though I was asking a different question. 0 customer service skills. The porters, restaurant, and housekeeping staff were lovely though. Honestly other than the location, there is nothing that will bring me back to this hotel. There are so many other hotels you can choose to book from. This hotel does not deserve the 4 star rating, I would’ve had a better stay at a 2 star hotel.
