If you can afford it we used Bonvoy Points so it was a fantastic deal, $680/night upgraded room with Concierge lounge for $80 plus points. Very high point valuation, and we saved $1800. Included breakfast in the Lounge was fantastic. The best I’ve ever had at any Marriott or Sheraton. EASILY worth the extra upgrade cost, which usually is not case. Fresh baked and prepared items as well as all sorts of grab & go. Quiet room, comfortable, service was great. Only negative was just timing. They hadn’t finished with the first floor renovation of the historic lobby area. No inconvenience but just disappointing to miss.
It’s the people at this Hotel who make this hotel truly shine.nWe had a truly wonderful stay at the Sheraton Park Lane. What sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. They made our experience unforgettable.nIt was a special family celebration for our mum’s 80th, joined by my sister and her children. Mathilda and Yasmine at the front desk were incredibly helpful, and we appreciated the upgrade with our Titanium status.nA heartfelt thanks to Sara from Guest Relations for introducing us to the extra amenities.nThe Birthday package was a lovely touch and made opening Mum’s room door feel magical.nnOne small critique: the Marriott Bonvoy app isn’t great for block bookings, and there seems to be a disconnect between central reservations and the hotel itself. Thankfully, the team here handled everything smoothly.nnFrom the front desk to the concierge, Club Lounge, and Palm Court staff, everyone was brilliant.
Very warm, polite and helpful staff without being overbearing.nnElegant lobby and atrium lounge worthy of the location.nnStandard Rooms are bordering on small, but manageable for a short stay. If more than 3 nights, I suggest upgrading to a 300 sq ft room.nnMost rooms do not have a view of Green Park - so either spring for a suite or do not be disappointed to ensure expectations match reality.nnBar - lounge service is very attentive.
Deeply Disappointing Stay – Not the Bonvoy StandardnnI have been visiting London for over 15 years and have stayed at many Bonvoy properties, but this was by far the coldest and most unprofessional experience I’ve had.nnThe room is advertised as 24 square meters, but the reality is very different. The photos speak for themselves. They seem to be counting the washroom and wardrobe area; the actual room space feels no more than 14–16 sqm, with barely enough space to walk or place luggage. For a nine-night stay, this is completely unreasonable.nnFrom the moment I arrived, there was zero warmth. No doorman, no assistance with luggage, and no proper welcome. Even after the staff saw I was struggling during check-in, no one followed up, no manager checked on me, and there was no attempt to fix anything.nnI emailed the hotel immediately with my concerns and received no meaningful response. The room was small, dark, and even had a poor view, yet there was no compensation, no care, not even an explanation.nnThis is not the five-star service that Bonvoy promises.nThis is not the hospitality I know in London.nAnd this is certainly not the treatment a loyal guest deserves.nnExtremely disappointing experience. I regret choosing this property and would not recommend it to anyone expecting real Bonvoy standards.nnnnIf I could rate the staff treatment below zero, I genuinely would.
Disappointing for a 5-Star HotelnnOur stay at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane was underwhelming and did not meet the expectations for a 5-star hotel or the price paid.nnA significant drawback was the lack of an elevator or escalator to the ballroom level. Having to use the stairs in formal attire is a major inconvenience and poor design for a grand hotel.nnFurthermore, my Marriott Elite status was not acknowledged, which was disappointing. The standard rooms are very small, more fitting a 3-star hotel. The elevators that do exist are slow and inadequate, causing long waits.nnThe bathroom was cramped with no place to hang robes or towels, and amenities were lacking. The hotel layout is confusing due to two connected buildings, making navigation difficult and potentially hazardous.nnOn a positive note, the location is excellent, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast, however, was just average.nnIn conclusion, the overall experience does not justify the cost, and we cannot recommend it.
