Stay here frequently for work across London. 15 mins walk along the canal from Paddington Station, 2 mins from Edgware Road H&C. Always welcoming, always clean, nothing ever an issue. Staff are super friendly and helpful always - a testament to the Hub brand!
I have stayed at Premier Inn Hub locations before and had good experiences, so I was shocked by how terrible my stay was this time round, specifically the state of the room.nnMy room had a horrible smell that I would describe as musty sewage, it seemed to be coming from the air conditioning. I told the staff member at reception about this and asked if I could switch to a different room, he said the hotel was full and there was no other room available. He acknowledged the issue and sprayed some air freshner in the room - it helped a bit, but it was never going to fully fix the issue.nnThe temperature control was also clearly malfunctioning, with the AC randomly turning on and making the room extremely hot, and then extremely cold, even when I had turned AC off from the control panel - I ended up switching off the circuit breaker by the AC so that it would stay off.nnThe bahroom sink tap was damaged and would spray water all over, even when the tap was just slightly open.nnThere was also an issue with the light fixtures, with the room lights randomly flickering and coming on and off without any input.nnFinally, I hated being in a windowless room it only had a fake window - I did realise afterwards that they specify on Hub hotel websites that some rooms are windowless, but there is no way to know in advance whether you will have a window or not. If you also don't want a windowless room, best to avoid.nnI wrote a complaint about my experience to Premier Inn support who referred me to the Marylebone Hub location contacts - they completely ignored me.nnOtherwise, the staff were alright and the location is convenient, but these things don't compensate for the nauseating state of the room. I will not return to this location and will likely avoid Hub locations overall in the future.
This is in a great location. Rooms are modern and clean but small. If you want to have a window, opt for an upgrade from the base. Breakfast is nowhere near as good as a standard Premier Inn but still tasty albeit limited.
The location was very good, close to Baker Street and a walking distance from Oxford Street, with access to underground and buses. The connection from London Luton and to Heathrow were also good. The room was clean, but there was an issue with shower drain as it looked stuck. The breakfast was ok - english breakfast type with unfortunately no veggies available and limited no-lactose/plant based options. However, the breakfast/bar area was cozy. Additional points for water, tea and coffee available 24/7. We had accessible room therefore it was more spacious, but this room had no window which was not mentioned when booking via Agoda. We 2 stayed there for 4 nights and honestly it would be hard to stay there longer with no window. Overall, I would say it was a bit pricey for this standard.
We stayed for 2 nights and I had a friend over for drinks in the evening.nThe room was clean and very compact. It is definitely small, there is a retractable desk but I can't imagine working in the room itself. I recommend only sharing a room here if you are very comfortable with the person and having a packed schedule or hang out in the lobby/bar. The room is somewhere to sleep and not much else but that didn't bother us.nThe highlight was having drinks with my friend in the lobby, the staff was very friendly and the cocktails were great. Rodica was especially friendly and we had a great night catching up.
