I think Holiday Inn London Kensington High Street is one of the largest hotels in London, which makes it a strong option for service, amenities, and location. Even with how busy the lobby felt, everything ran smoothly and the staff kept the experience organized and calm. Check-in was simple and efficient since they had over six people working the front desk at once. Unfortunately, I was informed that the hot tub was not working, which was the main reason I chose this hotel in the first place. Disappointed, I headed up to my room and found it pleasant, modern, and very clean. The rooms are compact, but they offer excellent business-friendly amenities and a small cooler to keep drinks cold, although it is not a full refrigerator. I requested a room with a bathtub and found it genuinely relaxing at the end of the day. The gym in the basement is a major highlight, with an impressive range of weights and cardio machines that make it easy to get a real workout in. Overall, the staff are what truly make this Holiday Inn stand out, and they handled everything professionally. I will definitely come back, especially once the hot tub is back up and running.
A very large hotel, but always have a good experience staying here. The service is friendly and helpful and there is rarely a long wait to check in. The location is excellent, just off Kensington High Street and not far from Kensington Palace.nnAs with many Holiday Inns the rooms are a little tired and not all rooms have usb charging ports in the plug sockets which is an essential convenience nowadays.nnThe common areas are clean and well kept and there are plenty of facilities at the hotel. Room rates are very good for the area.
Brilliant hotel with grey facilities. Pool and Well equipped gym. Breakfast is great.Quality of food is really up there. Spacious enough premium room. Hall.ways a bit dated and have a slightlyusty smell but nothing to bad. Staff are so friendly and helpful although at breakfast they are constantly floating around waiting to take finished plates away. Some people might like this but I felt they could ease off a little. Mostly though they are just efficient and friendly. Would absolutely come back here. Heart of kennsington so a little out of central London but lists in offer nearby
A comfortable stay, looked and felt clean except for a bit of an odd smell next to my bed. We had a twin room that was a bit too small, meaning that one of the beds ended up against light switches/ plug sockets on the wall so these ended up behind the pillow. Was happy to see the openable windows, so many hotels have fixed windows nowadays. Bathroom small but clean and suitably stocked. Nice white thick towels. Great breakfast selection. Nice comfortable and spacious bar on the ground floor.nLocation very close to High Street Kensington but selection of pubs, shops and restaurants slightly dissapointing though, perhaps went with too high expectations.
I had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Kensington. The hotel is in a great location - only about a 5-minute walk to the Underground station, and around 20 minutes by metro to central London. It’s also very close to Kensington Palace and several embassies, in a lovely and safe neighborhood.nnThe hotel is quite large, with around 700 rooms. Some of them are really small, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when choosing your room category.nnThe hotel was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay. I especially appreciated that they offered me an early check-in at no additional cost, which was extremely kind and helpful after an overnight flight.nnBreakfast had a good selection with plenty of options to choose from. There is also a swimming pool, which is a nice bonus.
