4 stars for the room because the shower door sliding runners had popped out of their rails. Not reported as would have meant room change. Otherwise, lovely staff & lovely hotel in ideal location in quiet street. Garden bar worth a visit.
The hotel was allocated by our coach trip operator. The entrance, lounge area, and restaurant were comfortable, but felt a little dated. Our double bedroom 1001 was very small and it was difficult to walk around the bed as it almost touched the bathroom wall at one corner. The bed was too soft and unfortunately I didn't sleep well. However the room was very clean and fine for one night. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed as part of a group / coach trip so overall it was a very good value option in a fairly central location with easy access to South Kensington 5 mins walk. Would definitely stay here again if the room rates are competitive.
Great location. Small rooms, came with 1 bed when paid for two originally and had to pay extra to move rooms. Alarm went off late last night twice waking our entire room up and made us struggle to get back to sleep. Affordable stay and good spot central London but probably wouldn’t go back.
This was our fourth stay in London, and we managed to get this accommodation at a good price. The city is easily accessible from here, and the neighborhood is safe. It has a large lobby compared to other similarly priced accommodations. My mom and I got a more spacious room because we requested one with two separate beds, unlike our friends. The room cleanliness was okay. We could also request slippers. We didn't opt for breakfast because we ate at the closest bakery on the street.
The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is quite large and has a lot of guests. We booked a standard room, which was very small. There was an option to upgrade to a slightly larger room for £23, but since we were staying for only one night, we decided to keep it as is. The room was clean. The hotel has a swimming pool, but it's not in perfect condition. The women's changing room was very dirty, with used towels lying around everywhere. It seemed like it was cleaned only once a day, at night. We were there an hour before closing, and it was just a mess, which was very unpleasant. There is a restaurant in the hotel. The food is decent, but the service is quite slow. We waited over 30 minutes to place our order and just as long to receive our food. So, if you want a quick meal, this is not the place. However, if you're not in a hurry and are looking for a relaxed and chill dining experience, you can eat here.Overall, I really liked the location of the hotel.
