fabulous location, lovely quiet rooms and most importantly, good working AC which in the UK is hard to find! The breakfast is amazing and for such a huge hotel, it's well organised and the staff don't seem stressed like in some hotels. All the staff I met were very friendly and well groomed, reception staff Youssef, Osman, Helen and Erika were all lovely and also the chef at breakfast whose name I didn't get was friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to come back and it's a good place for solo travellers. Some good shops nearby and for foodies and cafe hoppers, you couldn't ask for a better location
Great experience. We stayed here for 2 nights and have no complaints. Our room was lovely and clean. The staff were very kind and welcoming, especially Roshani who was very attentive and accommodating. We were even allowed to check in early as IHG members and given free late check-out. This was incredibly helpful for us. We had all the amenities we needed, including an iron and ironing board. The beds and pillows were so comfy and we had an amazing sleep. The location is great as well as it is literally round the corner from High Street Kensington underground station, so it was very easy to travel to using the tubes.Probably the best hotel experience I’ve had to date! Thank you!
Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights. The room and the entire hotel were very clean and well maintained.nFor those unaccustomed to the feature, in order for your lights and HVAC to work, you need to insert one of your room keys in the slot near the doorway. And don't forget to press the power button on the thermostat or you'll get no AC, once I figured that out, I made sure not to forget with the heat London was experiencing.nOne surprising feature in the room that wasn't listed in the description, was a mini fridge. This allowed me to visit Marks & Spencer, a grocery store located just down the block.nI enjoyed the breakfast in the hotel. They have a large selection of different hot and cold breakfast foods. Fried eggs, scrambled, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, muffins, cereals, coffee, juices, still and sparkling water. The staff were very friendly and timely when bussing the tables.nRoom service was a great service available. I ordered a pizza and got it delivered to my room in less than 15 minutes. It was a tasty pizza as well.nMy only gripe about my time there was the fire alarm waking me up, twice, one morning at around 4AM. Apparently someone had set off the alarm in their room, so the hotel had no control over that rude awakening.
Great location and lovely public areas.nBooked a twin room in January for 3 nights in July.nArrived to be allocated a double, despite booking a twin and confirming this by email. I was travelling with my friend, this was not acceptable. The receptionist was most unhelpful and advised there were no twins available. She suggested we spend the night in the room and they would change our room the next day. We advised that this was not acceptable. The receptionist did not understand why we didn't want to share a bed. Eventually a twin room was found. It was so small we could not walk around comfortably. The second bed was up against the window. There was about 6 inches between the end of the bed and the wardrobe, which explained why the doors were about 18 inches off the floor! No refrigerator.nVery poor and only suitable for a solo traveller.nThe staff overall were very polite and helpful. I do feel the reception staff need training in dealing with customers. We were made to feel like a nuisance and no apology was offered to us.
Stayed here end of May for a night. It was a great experience. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was a bit on the small size but it was comfortable, clean and quiet. Shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The hotel was well situated for many attractions with good transport links. Breakfast was great.
