Our stay at the Nobu Hotel at 22 Portman Square was fantastic. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, the doorman greeted us warmly and helped with our luggage. The front desk agent was new, so the check-in took a little longer than usual, and he accidentally sent us to the wrong tower in search of our room — but we took it as part of the adventure. In fact, our luggage arrived in the room before we did, which we found quite funny.nnAs part of the American Express Platinum Hotels program, we received a room upgrade and a lovely welcome amenity — a plate of delicious fresh fruits.nnThe bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, the shower excellent, and the toiletries by Grown Alchemist — a brand I’m already familiar with — were top-notch. Every evening, the turndown service included fresh bottles of water on the bedside tables, a thoughtful touch we really appreciated.nnThe breakfast buffet, which was included with our stay, was excellent, and guests can also choose a hot dish from the menu. The highlight of the restaurant was our waiter, Dipesh Guni, who kindly recommended the ginger shots and green juice — my son Alex and I truly enjoyed them.nnThe hotel’s location is excellent — just a short walk to Marble Arch tube station and in a safe neighborhood for walking both day and night. At the lounge bar, we ordered drinks and wagyu beef tacos, which were exquisite.nnOverall, our stay at the Nobu Hotel London Portman Square was pleasant, comfortable, and relaxing. We would definitely return.
Nobu Hotel, Portman Square, LondonnnI was recommended to stay at the Nobu Hotel in Portman Square, and I’m very glad I took the advice. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt special. The doorman set the tone immediately—warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. He took care of my bags and arranged secure parking for my car, which I really appreciated.nnCheck-in was smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to receive a room upgrade. The room itself was excellent and made the stay even more enjoyable.nnThe bar has a fantastic atmosphere—stylish, relaxed and full of energy, with plenty of the trendy London crowd passing through. While the vibe was great, the bar menu felt a little limited and the cocktail selection surprisingly sparse for a hotel of this calibre.nnBreakfast, however, was outstanding. The food was excellent, and the staff were exceptional throughout. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and helped make the stay memorable.nnOverall, I had a wonderful experience at the Nobu Hotel. Thank you to the whole team for making my visit so enjoyable. I look forward to returning
My stay at Hotel Nobu was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The service was seamless — whether it was check-in, room service, or assistance with local recommendations, the team made me feel truly cared for.nnThe atmosphere of the hotel is warm and elegant, and you can tell the staff take great pride in maintaining such high standards. It’s rare to find a place where every member of the team is so genuinely helpful and professional.nnI can’t recommend Hotel Nobu enough — if you’re looking for top-notch service and a welcoming experience, this is the perfect place to stay!
Gorgeous hotel!nnGreat location and price, staff were very helpful and friendly allowing us to check in early.nnThe room was spacious and very clean, water pressure in the shower was a bit low but that was the only issue we had during our stay.nnBreakfast was great too
My week-long stay at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square was, unfortunately, underwhelming and significantly missed the mark on the five-star service it claims to offer.nThe service issues began immediately at check-in. Despite having a booking benefit for an upgraded room upon availability, I was initially told the hotel was fully booked and an upgrade was impossible. However, a quick check online revealed that better rooms were available for the duration of my stay. It was only after contacting my card's concierge, who then reached out to the hotel directly, that I was upgraded, and even then, it was only to a marginally better room. This lack of good faith and transparency was a poor start to the experience.nThe breakfast service was consistently disappointing. I typically had a wait of at least five minutes to be seated and another 10–15 minutes before my order was taken. Furthermore, the quality control and staff reaction were poor. On the first morning, I found eggshells in my fried egg, and when I flagged this to a staff member, the issue was simply shrugged off.nService failures extended to the in-room amenities as well. A requested turndown service on the first night never materialized. On another day, the housekeeping staff failed to clean the coffee mugs in the room and did not replenish the coffee and sugar supply.nOverall, the atmosphere at the hotel was cold and unfriendly. The cumulative effect of these repeated service shortfalls made for an experience that was nowhere near the five-star standard I expected and paid for.
