The room was more spacious than I was expecting, which was great. It can be hard to find your room at first, its a bit of a maze. It was comfortable, with a lovely shower but the mattress was a bit flat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part about the hotel was how close to everything it is! There's so much to see right outside your door!
This was a fun family experience. The room was cute and the floor/shelf mattresses were comfortable. We never managed to find the light switch combination which turned off all the lights, but maybe there isn't one since there is no natural light. There are plenty of electrical sockets, with USB, but they are mostly at pillow height across the bed area. The toilet cubicle is entirely frosted glass, so this isn't an ideal choice for the overly self conscious. Shower was fine but it's a mini wet room and was difficult to fully contain the wet. Bizarrely there was no toilet roll holder in the toilet cubicle, and it did feel a bit cheap having it on the floor. Location was excellent, exiting directly to Piccadilly Circus and spitting distance to Leicester Square. If you fancy a Five Guys then you won't even risk getting your hair wet. We really did miss having a kettle and tea-making facilities in the room. There is a dining place adjoining, but it's a Coyote Ugly which is a strange ambience for a family breakfast! The cost for central London was reasonable and the room was fine for a short break but there are some details that would make me question returning.
As long as you understand what you're walking into it's a great option. When they say minimalist, it very much is. If you plan to just use the room to sleep then it will be fine for a short stay. It does not provide a kettle or hair dryer in the room. I didn't mind because I knew to expect it.nnThe location is fantastic, so central and convenient for theatre, nightlife, and getting the underground.nnThe room I was in was pleasant, clean, and comfortable. The lack of window was fine, I was warned when booking. My only real issues were that I wish the light had a dimmer switch option since theres no bedside light, and that I wish the shelf above the bed had more space to place my things but it was manageable. There isn't really anywhere to put clothes, so living out of the suitcase is the best option, which was fine for me personally.nnThe shower has great water pressure and for the size of the room itself, the bathroom was quite spacious.nnNow, my only real issue is that the room I was in is clearly in proximity to a nightclub. While I can tell there is soundproofing, it does not fully block the noise. This meant it was not the peaceful sleeping experience I hoped for, fortunately I do travel with headphones/earplugs so it was manageable. If I didn't have this it would be a problem.nnI would stay here again quite happily since I know what to expect.
Location was great, walkable distance to many attractions. Rooms were versatile, there was no furniture other than the beds, but we were given three beds for three people. Wall separating bathroom from room was somewhat see through. Krishna at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She went back to my room with me after checkout to look for an item I thought I left behind.
Fantastic location and reasonably priced. The hotel is clean and contemporary. A room with no windows can feel a little strange at first but we quickly adapted. The contemporary, modern style is cosily lit and we both slept well. Staff were friendly and professional. There is a cafe downstairs which sells pastries and coffees. It would have been nice to buy some warm food in the morning so that we didn't have to leave the hotel for breakfast. That said, there are plenty of places in the area to eat.
