Perfect location!nOnly a 10-minute walk to Soho and Chinatown, with underground stations also within walking distance.nnThe people are very kind and welcoming. Especially Yashashree : she was extremely friendly, thoughtful, and really took the time to think along with us.nnThe rooms were great from the start, and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. We are very satisfied with our stay and the service.nnThank you to everyone !
The hotel was nice and modern, but it lacked basic amenities such as a hairdryer, a TV, and a window. Check-in is strictly at 3:00 PM, and early check-in comes with an extra charge.nThe room was decent but not very clean, and bed linen and towels are changed only after 4 nights.nThe location was the hotel’s biggest advantage, right in the city center with everything within walking distance.
Great location, very central and great transport links. Finding rooms is a bit of a maze but the rooms are clean, comfortable, warm. Powerful showers and reasonably comfortable beds. Would happily stay again for a budget stay in London. Seems to be very popular with a variety of guests from casual to business. Not sure how you'd find a cheaper more central place!
Upon arrival we wanted to store our bags in the hotel as to not lug them around London, we learned it’s 15£ per item stored so opted to check in early as check in isn’t until 3pm and was charged 40£ for this service. We got over this and headed for our room, the rooms were nice for a period but the standard of service is not, our towels were replaced when needed but the room was not cleaned nor were our bins emptied or toiletries stocked throughout the duration of our 4-day stay. Another issue arose when a hair straightener was stolen from our room, we did not wish to accuse so properly turned the room inside out before inevitably going to staff about the issue, they assured us that they would get security on the issue but would need time to get the logs of the room lock and check cameras, we then left for an evening meal and drink, on our return our room had fresh towels although this was 8pm onwards, when eventually packing up to go home, the suitcases we had previously checked for a hair straightener for had now miraculously gained our hair straightener back, staff did not speak to us our come back to us about the issue in the meantime, honesty about the straightener being put back would’ve been appreciated, we checked the room diligently lifting all cases, mattresses the works so we knew that the straightener was not there.
Perfectly located for the west end.nBit rough to have to pay extra for bag storage and later check out. But to be honest Stonchoi was fantastic, after a few words they let us check in to one of our 3 rooms early and only charged 50 pounds for a late 2pm checkout.nOverall the experience was very good.nThey have a great cafe downstairs to wait in while you prepare to leave.nHappy customer
