Tony is a pathetic man-child that thinks he is funny, when he isn't! Totally cringeworthy. The B&B is more like an old folks home, with very dated décor. Overall, extremely disappointing!Rooms: 1/5
Watched u guys on 4 in a bed....so childish, arrogant, cheats & the wee man can't handle neg feedback...but good to give false feedback....u didn't deserve to win...BTW Lisa the camera did catch u giving ur wee man a squeeze on his leg when it was time to count ur given payment....u let urselves down....ur family & your town down.Rooms: 1/5
The Guesthouse is lovely, really great location proximity to the beach and pier and the staff are wonderful. The noise from outside cannot be helped as the windows are sash and single glazed, but the room is beautifully presented. The futon me and my son slept in wasn't particularly comfortable, but then again, futons aren't equipped with a decent mattress so you can't have too high an expectation! I have to add that my mother had a very comfortable King size bed in the same room, just to give an idea of the size of the room! There is also a separate kitchen and bathroom in the suite. Brilliant!
Guesthouse East is great. We've been several times because we love it so much. We go with our toddler and it has everything you could ask for. The rooms we have had have all been big and the beds incredibly comfy. The kitchens are really well stocked which makes it easy to cook or prepare picnics. Highly recommend it.
We stayed as part of our honeymoon at Guesthouse East back in 2009 and had a lovely stay. They were most helpful as we had our little one with us and we watched TV etc downstairs with baby asleep on the monitor which was excellent. It's well located and we were able to park just round the corner it's almost at the corner!. V friendly, we enjoyed breakfast and ate in the evening there too. Recommended!
This Guest House proved to be the most friendliest and the most comfortable 'home' that we have stayed in. From the moment of our arrival throughout our two-day break we enjoyed a real welcome and were made to feel really part of the family. Nothing was too much trouble from free parking, free wi-fi and superb full English breakfasts. We have already booked a return visit!
The people who run this guesthouse are wonderful. The room is nice, the beds are comfortable. The accommodation was clean, the dining room was cosy and the breakfast was very good. The location is a 5 minute walk to the city center and a 30 second walk to the beach.
We've stayed here a couple of times including our honeymoon and will definitely stay again. Very comfortable rooms, lovely welcoming hosts, excellent service, very close to the beach. Cannot fault it. Highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5
cool modern guesthouse, great value, perfect location & very friendly ! what more can I say !! welcomed with a great cup of tea / cold drinks for kids, nothing was too much trouble & Karl & Sarah were so accommodating & frendly. Offered us tips to the best places to go, everywhere was very clean, huge rooms - way enough or us 5. The location was really central as well near to the pier, town centre & Harry Ramsden ! Totally recommend as they have self catering as well - although had to stop at taking out the kayake !! Nadia, Peter & Gang.
I was really comfortable here. The rooms are clean and staff are very good. Having my own little kitchenette was very much appreciated. Tony and Lisa are most welcoming hosts.
