We spent 9 comfortable days at this delightful guest house. We were having our house renovated so had to move out for a while. We had a double room and everything worked! Great shower, efficient heating and nice bed. All very clean. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you to Pete and Lisa the managers
This might have been a good guest house ones. These days it is a Half Ways house mixed with ordinary tourists. We are not posh but thus was NOT NICE. The smell of smoke, running between rooms rude landlady Lisa and her Pete was no better. Good Pizza and Sunday Roast. BUT NEVER AGAIN! Pete it was booked in my partners name . Please behave better!!
Stayed for 2 nights, great place, comfy bed. I suffer with with a chronic lack of sleep, living in London comes with it's costs of peace and quiet so I was glad to get a full 8 hours sleep both nights I stayed, it's quiet and tranquil despite being so close to the town I was staying in a single room at the front of the hotel The couple running the place were friendly, cooked a great breakfast and you can get hotel parking permits for just £1 a day unlike the local paid parking which can be anything between £6-12 a day! Recommended!
Very warm welcome by the owner. It's an old characteristic building with typical features. It's not a hotel. It's a guesthouse, there's a difference. We loved it. The family room, which we stayed in with 4 adults was very spacy. There was coffee tea cookies and water. The breakfast was very good! I would definitely stay here again.
Friendly staff who were helpful. I was in a single room right at the top of the hotel 52steps to get up there. The bathroom was clean with decent electric shower. Room small but nicely kept. I was just there for a course so didn't spend much time at the hotel, and would stay again for a similar event.
A lovely little gueest house excellently positioned very close to the seafront. Cleanliness was very good and the accomodation had evreything you needed. We stayed in the family room and it proved to be very comfortable with our two children loving the bunk beds - bonus was that the kids has their own little room just next to our bedroom but still part of the same room with our own small hallway and single room door - very convenient! The staff and owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking was free with a permit from the hotel. The breakfast was terrific. Would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely little guest house and plan to stay here again ourselves.
Great location just one block from beach. Friendly staff let me park bike in backyard. I stayed in single room #10 and bed was comfortable. Only drawback is dated plumbing in bathroom, especially shower controls.
Location is great, just one minute walking distance from winter garden bus stop Just few minutes walking distance from the beach 10 minute walking distance from the Eastbourne train station Carole and Bo are welcoming and helpful Room is big, lovely and clean , and room cleaning is really good, facial tissues replenished once used up. WiFi speed is good Breakfast is good
Location of this hotel is good. Close to seaside. Parking on the street, free for guests. Breakfast was delicious, but there is only one person that is working everywhere. Room was clean and tidy, but smell of vanilla was so strong that we had to leave open window for day.
Value for money. Clean and tidy. Very friendly hosts. Couldnt ask for anymore. Did exactly what it said on the tin and some more. We stayed in room 2 was quiet n comfortable. Many thanks pete n lisa
