Lovely relaxing Hotel, almost from a different era, with attentive staff, great location, superb sea views, comfortable rooms with all the amenities. Dining room and food superb. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Bar Lounge nice. Competitive prices for food and drink throughout. Hotel has limited parking, but has arrangement with Eastbourne Council for Parking Tickets @ £1 a day....so you can go out for a drive and come back to park with no worries of additional costs. Thoroughly recommend and will visit again.

What can I say? 5 stars is not enough we would give it 6! Well we had a fabulous time, a full week of friendly staff, excellent food, clean large room and a courteous reception team. First time we have stayed, if we'd known it was a "Brittania" we would not have gone; however we were very happy that we decided to go to The Cavendish Hotel. Will we go again? MOST DEFINITELY NEXT YEAR we will book it after Christmas . Most definitely a SIX Star hotel

Lovely hotel right at the beautiful seafront. Close to plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has its own grand-ish restaurant, lounge, bar and library (which my wife really loved). Breakfast was perfect.

One night stay awarding a two stars, only just! Firstly, upon entering our room I straight away went to the window to check out our sea view....filthy, these windows have never been cleaned, you couldn't see anything out of them, seriously disappointing. The bathroom was clean and looked nice however every time you flush the toilet or run taps a horrendous noise blasts through the room. Dinner was absolutely dyer, starter of pate is Tesco brought, generous amount given alongside the worlds smallest piece of toast. I then went on to have chicken with red wine sauce aka middle school roast dinner. Desert was also shop brought however presented nicely. Breakfast was surprisingly tasty large variety of food and drinks. I do not recommend this hotel.

Well located hotel, fantastic service and very comfortable room. All pictures were taken from my room. I cannot complain about the view, can I?
