I recently stayed at The Burlington Hotel in Eastbourne with my husband, and it was a thoroughly delightful experience from start to finish. The hotel has classic charm with elegant Victorian architecture and it's perfectly situated right on the seafront, offering beautiful views of the coast and the iconic pier. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay—friendly without being intrusive, and always happy to assist. The room was clean, comfortable and well-kept, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. I especially appreciated the little touches like the complimentary tea and coffee, and the large windows that let in lots of natural light. Breakfast was lovely each morning with plenty of variety and generous portions, served in a bright, spacious dining room. The atmosphere in the hotel was calm and relaxed, ideal for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. Location-wise, you really can't beat it. The hotel is just steps away from beach, and a short stroll to shops, cafes and theatres. It’s the perfect base for exploring Eastbourne and the surrounding area, including Beachy Head and the South Downs. All in all, I’d definitely recommend The Burlington Hotel to anyone looking for a charming and well-located hotel on the East Sussex coast. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Great!! Don’t let the outside of the building put you off. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Our room on the third floor was very spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the water and jetty Bathroom spotless. Water hot with good pressure.nBar staff very friendly. Food good for what we ordered. Would definitely stay again
Had a great stay here. Everything was clean. Had a decent view of the sea. The staff were nice and polite towards me at all times. Could hear noise from adjoining rooms but nothing too loud or excessive. Amazing location not too far from the pier. Would definitely consider booking here in future.
Connor at reception was lovely and was nice enough to upgrade our room to a view! The room was large and clean, bed was a bit uncomfortable but pillows and blankets were soft. I also appreciated that there was a heater and a fan in the room. To top it off the location is perfect
Very nice hotel. Very helpful and good staff. Rooms presented well with adequate facilities. Lovely location and full of character as these old Victorian hotels are. Good breakfast buffet and food bar with conservatory facing the sea front. Good price and certainly cheaper than some of the others . Good value. Half range of simple bar food as well as the fa. Y restaurant offering.
