The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s close to several bus stops, and King’s Cross station is only a short walk away, so getting around London was really easy.nnThe room itself was decent and the bed was comfortable enough. Everything worked fine, so no major complaints there.nnThe breakfast, though, was a bit disappointing. We stayed for a few days, and it was pretty much the exact same selection every morning. The food wasn’t bad, but I was hoping for a little more variety.nnThe reception staff were okay. They weren’t rude, but they also didn’t seem very welcoming or friendly. It felt more like they were just doing their job and nothing more.nnHousekeeping was probably the biggest letdown. They would make the bed and clean the bathroom, but the room didn’t really feel properly cleaned. Our trash wasn’t always emptied, and things like the iron or hair dryer were left wherever we had used them instead of being put back. It felt more like a quick tidy-up than a proper room clean.nnOverall, it wasn’t a bad stay, but for the price we paid, I honestly expected better service and attention to detail, especially from a DoubleTree by Hilton. The location is great, but I don’t think the overall experience matched the price.
The rooms overall are clean, comfy and relaxing. Had no problems with the room, the air con worked perfectly and the beds were really comfy.nnThe services was quick and friendly. When it comes to requesting a few things for the room it was easily done by staff members and they always had a smile.nnWhat topped it off with the stay was the bar staff who made the night more friendly and comfortable. I don't want to point them out but Lewis and Saakshi was a delight. With laughter and conversation they made the night. Would not recommend them enough.nnGet yourself over to the Hilton for a comfy and enjoyable stay
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at this DoubleTree hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and perfectly adequate for our needs. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options.nnThe highlight of our stay was the breakfast service. Manahil took care of us every morning during our 7-day stay and was always incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. Her excellent service made a real difference and deserves special recognition.nnThe only disappointing part of our experience was that the hotel would not store our luggage while we were away for 7 days, even though we were returning to stay at the same hotel afterward. This meant we had to carry all of our luggage during our trip, which was very inconvenient. We had hoped the hotel would be more flexible in this situation.nnOverall, it was a good stay, but improving the luggage storage policy for returning guests would make the experience even better.
Great hotel but Mimi and Pawan is the best!!! She even remembered us from our last stay at this hotel a year ago. Now that is a caring person who loves her job. Overall this hotel's location is great. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. There are restaurants and a barnFood is very good and staff is very atteive to guest's needs.
I really enjoyed my stay and would happily come back. My room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, making it a great place to unwind at the end of the day. The hotel had everything I needed, and it was clear that the staff cared about creating a welcoming experience. Everyone at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was always happy to help.nnBreakfast was something I looked forward to each morning, with plenty of fresh and tasty choices. I also spent time in the executive lounge, which had a nice variety of drinks and snacks throughout the day.nnA special thank you to Mimi. She has such a kind heart and truly cares about her guests. She went out of her way to help whenever she could, and her thoughtfulness made my stay even more enjoyable. It’s people like her who make a hotel feel welcoming, and I’ll remember her kindness long after my trip.
