I stopped here for a bite to eat when working in the area. The restaurant is light and modern, with a glass wall giving views over the river. The food was tasty, well presented, and decent value. The house red was pleasant but on the pricey side, though perhaps only typically so for such a hotel.

This is a great hotel. Certainly my favourite Newcastle one. Good commanding view of the Tyne, Tyne Bridge and Newcastle. Rooms are modern and well appointed. This is how all hotels should be. Have stayed in far more expensive ones but this still beats them. Reasonably size car park underneath, not free. Gateshead Metro is the closest station but bit of a fiddly route. Parking expensive though, £12 for overnight for residents. There is a small "Loading Only" bay outside that you can park between 8pm and 8am

Visited the Ocean rooms spa. Had 1 hour long full body massage by Sofia which was fantastic. Was lovely and quiet on a Tuesday morning. Great value for money.

Excellent room, very good view of Newcastle. The executive lounge offered free hot and cold drinks plus food all day and evening. Staff were very polite and parking was on site.

Beautiful hotel from the inside and outside. Check in was suburb! Room upgraded due to the trip being our wedding anniversary. Salvu (male) who checked us in gave us each a complimentary glass of processco. Bedroom lovely, excellent view of Tyne bridge and so high up given that were on the first floor. All in all so far so good😀
