Had a week say fantastic place close to the river. Should say watch out for the steps from close to the Train station to the Hotel. Sleep very well better then most Travelodge. Could do with cleaning with a bit more attention as found hair in the shower. Overall it was good

This was a solid hotel for a two night stay, providing comfy beds at the Travelodge standard! The tables have sufficient space for storing a large number of items and there are shelves to hang clothes up too, which have space underneath for extra storage. The shower worked efficiently to proper warmth and curtain keeps it separated properly from the rest of the bathroom, toilet was up to scratch too. Cleanliness was maintained across the hotel and lift's buttons system reaches efficiency, reception was well-staffed by nice members and price was cheap even though the hotel is a slight walk from Newcastle city centre!

All of the Travelodge staff down here in Newcastle on the Quayside have been rather brilliant this Christmas.nWe have once again really enjoyed our Christmas break down on the side of the River. …still with many outstanding walkways attached to it.nLove the location. Love the choice and indeed the quality of food and the comfort of all of the rooms.nFantastic value for money.nWe will be back !!!!

The room was good and they had reasonable amount of parking.nnThe food in the bar/restaurant was so bad we both left our meals cheeseburger & sizzling chicken. When the staff member cleared the table he didn't ask how the meal was, probably because it was obvious from how much was left. All tasted dry and microwaved

Once again, I can't fault our stay. We booked 6 rooms to accommodate our band and crew. No complaints about the rooms whatsoever. Ours had fabulous views.nWe had a great time in the bar singing and playing including the obligatory Fog on the Tyne on the Wednesday night. Thanks to the evening staff for allowing it. Great result as well 2-0nAfter shooting the video on the Quayside Thursday morning, we had a fantastic breakfast.nHowever, the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Always attentive, friendly and helpful. See you soon x
