What a fantastic hotel! I stayed here for business over two weekends and I was thoroughly impressed. The location is about as perfect as you could ask for, it is right in the centre but I didn't hear a thing at night and slept incredibly soundly. The room was of a good standard, impeccably clean and very well laid out. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the decoration was both in the room but especially the lobby beautiful comfortable and relaxing. ALL the staff were extremely friendly, talkative and helpful with excellent knowledge of the surrounding areas and pointed me in the best direction for local businesses to eat/ drink. Juan on reception was without doubt one of the best front of house staff I have ever experienced, he treated all guests with the same dedicated professional welcome and ensured that each person who was checked was left feeling that they were home from home and really went the extra mile. This made it a richer experience that you do not get from what is essentially a budget hotel.

Lovely clean room! Bed was massive and super comfy and the shower was amazing! Very central with only a short walk from train station, shopping, bars and restaurants! When leaving the male staff member we encountered was a breath of fresh air! Didn’t have breakfast as would have preferred a cooked breakfast rather than continental. Other than that amazing stay and would highly recommend.

The hotel's location is downtown perfect. The rooms was European small as was the washroom. However, we were there on a Saturday night and people were out in the street late into the celebrating loudly - yet we heard nothing when in the room. There were restaurants and pubs all around so getting diner was easy. Breakfast was everything it should have been. The staff was cheerful, attentive and professional.

Excellent value for money. I was greatly surprised by the standard for the price. Spotlessly clean, beautiful bed, great shower and toiletries, TV, radio and everything you need in your room. No frills but everything you need. Friendly staff. Quick and easy check-in and I checked in hours before the stated time with no problems. Great location and my room on the 5th floor was quiet. Everything you need on your doorstep: the train station about 6 minute walk, Monument Metro station about 2 minutes away, shops, pubs, theatres, restaurants and bus stops all a stones-throw away. The quayside is about a 10 - 15 minute walk downhill. On the metro you can reach the coast in a few minutes, too.

The first person we saw at check in was extremely helpful and answered all the questions we asked. Her name was Hayley K - Lovely lady. We will most definitely stay there again, maybe longer next time. Lovely hotel. Clean, inviting, calm atmosphere, huge space on reception. Perfect.
