I think recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle and had an outstanding experience throughout our visit. The hotel was modern, immaculate, and maintained to an exceptionally high standard in every area.nThe staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming from arrival to departure, providing first-class customer service at all times. A particular highlight of our stay was the Club Lounge, where the service was truly excellent. The atmosphere was relaxing and exclusive, with a fantastic selection of refreshments and attentive staff who ensured every guest felt valued and well looked after.nThe room was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped, offering everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The hotel’s facilities and central location also made it an ideal choice for visiting Newcastle.nOverall, the Crowne Plaza Newcastle exceeded expectations in every aspect. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning again in the future.
A special thank you to Hannah at Reception who did the most welcoming Diamond Welcome we have ever had. It was as though she had rolled out the red carpet. She even put my car parking worries at bay.nnIn the evening Sally in the Club Lounge went the extra mile. So kind and attentive and we both loved the vegetable curry with salad. I particularly noticed Sally knew and remembered everyone by name. A 10 year member of staff here we must celebrate her anniversary in June. Please kindly thank her and the chef for the wonderful culinary delights.nnAs Diamond members we are both very impressed.nnThe car park is further on then left at the lights then you goto 10th floor. Enter number plate at Reception for discount don't pay at the machine. Ask Front desk team they will explain. Be careful on the corners. 10 minutes maximum wait at the lobby drive area should be changed to 20 minutes please.nnThe pool looked busy we will try tomorrow when it's a bit quieter hopefully.nnStill 5 stars especially when comparing with Marriott who have closed all their leisure clubs and cut staff.nnThank you.
The staff and hotel were great. Nice and clean and the decor modern and trendy, just a couple of minutes from the stationnnCouldn't fault the room, although there was an air con vent which made some very odd noises at certain times of the nightnnWe only stayed the one night and were looking forward to using the spa, which was both packed and full of kids. Common sense would suggest a rota based system where guests could sign up to a specific time slot, both transparent and manageable. It was just a free for all and we ended up waiting over an hour to use the spa.nnBreakfast was fantastic however the staff were not clearing down the tables as they became free, which meant a huge queue of guests waiting to be seen to a table.nnOverall a nice stay but with a few simple changes could be pretty much perfect
Was here for a conference, staff and facilities were amazing. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. Breakfast has so many choices there really is something for everyone. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is literally a 5/7 min walk from the train station. Would highly recommend.
We have stayed here a couple of times at this particular hotel and its about time I wrote a review. While RR was working in the day I had such fun exploring both the hotel and Newcastle. Newcastle is a stunning city and no matter how often you visit there is always something new to see. Even when he actually lived in Washington we still visited Newcastle for nights away to explore together. So if you're unsure as to visit Newcastle then do - it can be very romantic !nI love how close to the train station the hotel is too - just around the corner, a 8 minutes walk with a suitcase.nThe hotel is gorgeous. We stayed as usual in the rooms that allow you access to the lounge and the lady in there while we were there was so happy to help with everything. I am gluten free and Sally went out of her way to find me some lovely gluten free treats on every visit. When you have allergies it is always concerning when eating out so to find someone so conscientious is wonderful.nThe rooms were beautiful as usual, the restaurant and the bar food were brilliant , all members of staff were lovely and helpful. I can not complain about anything. I look forward to visiting again soon.
