I stayed for 4 nights. The room was clean, the hotel was tidy and there were no stains on the bed although carpet was a little dingy. It was excellent value for money. I found the bed comfortable and got a good night sleep each night which isn’t typical for me at hotels as I find the beds are usually too hard. Showers were hot with good water pressure. Excellent service from those working at the hotel- very friendly and happy to help with any queries. Really enjoyed the breakfast too. Good service so didn’t need to pay for Wi-Fi. Lobby was very nice. Quiet and pleasant stay overall. Would definitely recommend.
I found it quite peaceful here. We only stayed for one night, but it was great.nThe reception team were happy to help us borrow chargers as we forgot our own. We were given enough cups and tea and coffee for the three of us.nIt had easy to use heating and a window which opened slightly.nBe careful when showering as water will spill on the floor, which might make it slippery.nThere weren’t much noise coming from outside or in the hallway which is great as we needed sleep.nSheets were comfy. Would probably come again.
Avoid this hotel at all cost myself and my partner arrived with 2 our two children we entered the room to a absolutely disgusting smell like someone had literally had urinated on the floor, room window was open which disgusting not help the smell. Room was extremely ran down and very grotty, bathroom door handle was hanging off and the lock was broken.nAfter looking under the beds I found a empty jar of coconut oil and numerous hair clips myself and my partner decided Immediately to leave the propertyand get our money refunded . Not a pleasant experience at all after the room was booked for over two weeks if your looking for a lovely hotel for a slight bit of money per night choose the maimaison hotel on the quayside lovely hotel and staff .
Decently cheap, good location between ouseburn and the city centre. A few stains and things but the bed was clean. Fairly quiet.nGood if you want a cheap location to sleep after a busy day, probably better for overnight stays than more lengthy stays.
It was ok. Staff were friendly.nRooms are NOT soundproof, heard security at like 1 or 2am on radios on 2nd floor. Also heard banging on doors at 5am in night one. Heard loud music from next door at night. Room had kettle and had a TV. Bathroom had no matt on floor so water flooded the bathroom during shower. Used disposal bag found also on the bathroom. Gave us 2 towels and 1 hand towel. You also got to go to reception to get more tea and coffee if you run our or you can hang a door hanger that says hang this on door handle before 11am if you want us to empty the bin, give you more towels and refill tea and coffee, milk and sugar to. There was also a separate door hanger that is for a do not disturbed if you want to be left alone without anyone knocking on your door.nOverall it was an ok stay could be better had some guys say hi to me and felt like I was being followed. I also had to go through 2 long corridors and across a glass bridge they call it and go up the lift or stairs to the 2nd floor to my room 258.nCan't fault the staff they were so helpful and also allow you to have takeout delivered there.
