Well can honestly say would not recommend this hotel.
Had to pay in full in advance even though I had lodged a credit card on booking.
Room facilities listed safe and individual room temperature controls - neither in room and when queried at reception they said not all rooms had them. Why list it as a facility then?
Noisy but then maybe we cannot fault hotel for that as location is opposite train station.
Room boiling hot but could not open windows at all

Rally nice hotel. Decor is really nice with a lovely staircase and it has lifts to all floors too. Rooms are lovely and cleaned/hoovered daily. It does get quite loud as it's in the centre of town but that's to be expected, it's not so bad when you have the windows closed. Would definitely stay here again. Excellent for anyone wanting to stay in the city.

A very pleasant stay. I had a small double room which had all the usual; TV, tea and coffee, Iron and board etc. The large bathroom was, well, large; almost the same size as the room. It had a large bath which I used; hot water ample. You get your usual toiletries thrown in. I ordered room service late at night which wasn't a problem and it was lovely; sandwich and hot soup. I believe it was the night manager who brought up the tray; so helpful. The location is right across from the train station and not that far to the shops. There are plenty of restaurants and bars all around. If I had to find a fault it would be that the hotel is in need of a refurbishment and actually while I was there their restaurant and bar were indeed being modernized. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location to the station. Some rooms a little tired but the staff were fantastic. Very helpful and great service. Bar area and restaurant was lovely
