Such a lovely hotel/BnB. The moment we stepped in, we felt right at home. Caroline and Chris are amazing hosts: so kind and so helpful with lots of great reccomendations. The building is old but very pretty - no lift though so pack light ;- Breakfast was delicious, especially the Eggs Benedict that are freshly made. Next time we are in Eastbourne, we'll definetly stay at the Ravilious again.
My wife and I stayed here years ago and really enjoyed it...New owners now and pleased to say it's still faultless. The couple who own it now are brilliant, friendly welcome, super helpful. The rooms are large and everything is clean and well appointed. Really comfy bed, everything you need. Breakfast was great too. You can park in the street for £2. It's near the centre so plenty of pubs, restaurants just a few minutes walk. Definitely recommended.
I stayed for a work visit to Eastbourne and it was absolutely ideal. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate our working hours with a very early breakfast and a smile! The room was immaculate, thoughtfully designed, a comfy bed and lovely light room. Stunning hotel, fabulous breakfast, they have thought of everything. We will definitely be back . Thank you . Rooms: Immaculate room, comfortable mattress. Hugh's shower. All the amenities you need are provided. Walkability: Very close to theatre shops and town Food & drinks: Great choice of breakfast prepared to a high standard. Delicious!
Superb hotel dead opposite centre court! 10 min walk from sea front. Immaculate and lovingly preserved / restored Victorian property, lovely rooms, lovely bar and breakfast room, our breakfasts were EXCELLENT, you can get an all day street parking permit for £2 off the owners. But to be honest, the best thing about staying here was the owners/hosts who were so helpful and kind and could not have been more hospitable. Would love to stay again! We were passing through and had planned a stop in Eastbourne. The hotel exceeded all our expectations. The beautiful rooms were very large and clean. The two owners of the hotel were very friendly and gave us some good tips for our stay. The breakfast menu was very large and the food was excellent. Even for my girlfriend, who is a vegetarian, it was absolutely no problem. We will definitely plan a stop in Eastbourne again on our next trip through England and of course at the Ravilious Hotel. Thank you very much for the hospitality.
What a gem! This place was a highlight of our trip. Spacious, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, I can't really think of anything that could have made our stay better. The bathtub and comfy bed were a plus! The hosts are warm and welcoming and they made a great breakfast complete with vegetarian and vegan options. They also gave us detailed instructions on how to get to local attractions, including the seven sisters hike. The location is perfect for travelers without a car, since it is 10 mins from the train station and 5 minutes from the bus or shore. There are lots of restaurants and shops just blocks away. Overall, a wonderful hidden gem in charming Eastbourne! Rooms: Spacious, clean, and very thoughtfully designed for both aesthetics and utility Walkability: Very close to the train, town center, bus and beach Food & drinks: Breakfast with a variety of options including vegan/vegetarian
Such a perfect little hotel. Although the best part of Ravilious isn’t the rooms, breakfast, or location. It’s the owners, Chris and Caroline. The rooms, breakfast and location are perfect too though. Definitely highly recommend.Rooms: 5/5

Great for vegans! They were happy to sort us vegan options for breakfast, totally understood what we'd need, and made it feel like no big deal. Also, super friendly owners. Room was big and clean and comfortable. Whole place well decorated. Not a tired seaside hotel at all!
Fabulous hotel in Eastbourne! 10 stars out of 5! Chris and Caroline are amazing people. Tremendous breakfast, particularly Egg Royale! We booked our next stay straightforwardly! Don’t even try to look for other places!
