Great hotel, great location. Fantastic breakfast. Lift system is a bit confusing and could be labelled better. Rooms were great, full of mid cons. Perfect location.nDidn't enjoy the pool area - it needs a clean and update. Floor was slippy in the slippers they provided. Also, I went in an adults only time, yet 4 children in there, so no really place to swim as pool is small. The sauna was nice, but steam room would benefit from fragrance.
We had a great stay at the Park Plaza, they were able to comfortably accommodate our family of four with a one bedroom suite that included a pull out couch. The service was wonderful and everyone was very happy to help. Shout out to the bellman Stefan for masterfully handling our many bags during check out. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed for 3 nights, opted for the free bottle of wine, no bedding change option. Cleaners decided to just not enter the room at all to replace toiletries or tea, coffee, etc. We requested what we needed via their WhatsApp chat option, and again, nothing arrived. The room was lovely, but there were clear maintenance issues, like a gap in the flooring of the balcony that guests have been using as an ashtray for a while, so there were hundreds of cigarette ends. Inexplicably dark areas 15th floor lift area where you have no idea if you're going the right way. Lift area on one floor was right next to a storage/ kitchen area, so we often waited alongside a stock delivery trolley in a relatively small area.nUsed the toilets at the entrance and had to report one being absolutely filthy, it clearly hadn't been checked for a while, again the service not quite being where it should be.nSwimming pool area nice, changing area missing things like shower gel, hairdryers and a costume dryer. Bar was nice, very friendly staff, lovely view over the Thames. We didn't eat there, so can't comment. Room service was OK, quite slow though, pizza was very nice and filling, loaded fries were stodgy and wouldn't have again.nThis could be a brilliant hotel but service and maintenance needs to be more of a priority. The views sell the hotel, and it seems obvious that they know that, so don't try particularly hard elsewhere.nWe've stayed in Park Plaza County Hall many times, and the difference in service is huge between the two hotels.
Jose, Mohammed and Daniel were extremely helpful employees. I came here for my birthday and they made it something to remember! The rooms and lobby smell amazing and are so clean. I had a girls night, so not only me, but all my friends could agree that this place was amazing. Room service is quick and everyone is so friendly and kind! This is honestly the loveliest hotel I’ve been to. The interior will NOT let you down. Please do not think twice about booking here!
Satisfied with our stay here! The room we had was a generous size, and the entire hotel was very clean. Room service was extremely quick. There were tons of breakfast options. We also spent some time in the bar at night, in which there was live entertainment. Romero and Kieron were great at assisting with our bags, as well as restaurant recommendations. They were a pleasure to speak with.nnWe are especially happy with the concierge service we received, particularly with Julian. He was able to assist us with any questions we had about destinations or recommendations within London. Very knowledge about the transportation around the city. He was able to quickly book tickets for us as well. He always greeted guests with a smile. We will miss him as we head home!
