Oval underground station is served by the northern line the ticket hall area is a average size. There is no disabled access only escalators then some stairs no lifts here. Oval underground is the closest station to Oval cricket ground which only 30 seconds away. Any matches at the cricket ground means that the station is very busy.
What special I like about this station is plants & classical music. As soon as u entered, u can enjoy classic music n top of there’s some plants make u feel great. It gives u a warm welcome which I have seen in very few London underground stations. Northern line cover this station n service is good. The best thing is Oval stadium is just next corner of the station.

it is really shocking to me that in 2024, the UK has no public loos at such an important place. Many people need the Loo when travling. Yet London underground is useless and there are harly any loos in opperations any where. The Oval is no excption and you have been on the Northern line or been some where eles and changed onto the Northern line this is an issue. which is been givne any thought. We have children Pregent Mothers, Men with cancar and other ill helath wich may also effect Women. Why are thier NO TOLIETS !!! OF EATING FOR DISALBED AND ENVEN A LIFT TO MAKE THIS SATION ACESSABLE?
Nice station with plants and free books - weekdays only the coffee van inside the church opposite the station makes south London’s best coffee
