My favourite London underground station; purely because of a hidden little secret…suspense…Elsa’s dress lies within! Being a “Frozen” fan this was an amazing little discovery, having watched the musical twice it is astonishing how I’ve missed this previously.
Just wanted to share our experience at Leicester Square underground today. We were assisted by Albert, the gentle giant who couldn't be more helpful. Topped up our cards and got us safely on the right train back to Terminal 4 you need more people like him, total asset to your company. Thank you Albert x
Served by both Picadilly Line which can go to the airport, and Northern Lines which can go to Waterloo station for great National Rail access.nnTrain platform looks dirty and saw a tissue on the ground when I accessed the ticket hall. There are cleaner stations nearby such as Tottenham Court Road station on the Northern Line about 7 minutes north and Green Park station on the Picadilly Line about 15 minutes west.nnNot the most dirty and tired station out there but could be better. Even Charing Cross and Picadilly Circus stations look better.
Close to theatres and cinemas and just around the corner from the square that has lots ofnStatus to see.nThere is more than one entrance to the station and I love the tiles on the platform walls.nI found getting around the station easy by just following the signs.
Very engaging, so many visitors around, had lovely time and had our dinner at China Town. Visited Lego world and M&M , entry is free to both places.
