Clapham North is a vibrant multi cultural enclave of central London.nA fantastic neighbourhood to live in and to visit. Great independent shops nice restaurants and a exciting nightlife. Great connections with a underground and Overground stations and lots of buses that connect to the city and beyond.nnPhotos courtesy of londoncameraclub1 on Instagram
A very cool and unique station similar to Clapham common but with a small little curve. There is a great connection to the London Oveground as well.
Sunday lunch early @12.15.nSo disappointed.... beef roast £22.nYorkshire pudding cold!!! Vegetables hardly visible on the plate, really bad, *3 roast potatoes and & *1 slice of beef.nThe worst Sunday lunch I've actually had.nTried to feed back information and no gesture of apology or anything!nReally Really BAD
Place needs a face-lift - could also use an actual lift but this could be difficult to install - steps up from the platform though few are particularly difficult for elderly people with luggage - on the plus side the staff are friendly and courteous and do their best to help
A bit run down if I'm honest. There are some good shops and bars in the area but it could do with a re-development, just like its adjacent Stockwell. Is it worth a visit? Yes, mainly due to the bars in the area. But don't expect to be amazed. Go there with low expectations and you'll be fine.
