What a magnificent art deco building! From the outside has a real wow factor. According to some blurb inside, it was considered Londons 1st skyscraper when built 15 stories. Made me think a little of Langs Metropolis.nShame so many of the retail outlets on the street level are empty, which makes it a bit sad. But the exterior is stunning. Would love to see some of the internal decor of the upper floors.
It is served by the District and Circle lines. St. James's park doesn't have step-free access, unfortunately. Best to get off at Westminster The St. James's Park station is accessible through the District and Circle lines. It is unfortunate that there is no step-free access available at this station. Therefore, it is best to get off at Westminster station, which has all the necessary amenities. It's worth noting that there are two entrances, but one of them is always closed on weekends. If you are travelling or have accessibility issues don’t go via this station. Had to lug our bags up 2 flights of stairs.
A station for London Underground Limited & locals but it is the tourists that rule here! From around the UK and from all over the world people find themselves passing through this station on the way to some sightseeing in London South West One.nI thought I would show some love see photo to my local underground station that lies at the base of this listed building.
Excellent park to go for a walk, either on the way to some other tourist attraction or if you need to share some secrets with others. Also a great place to go and sit on a bench and wait for people to come up to you and tell you things. Top tip: introduce yourself with a code name and people will share more interesting things.nnDucks are great for conversation too. 10/10 would visit again. Also has free public restrooms!
