Great Underground StationnSt-James Park is very central station and very useful regardless of you coming from Buckingham or from Westminster. It has both the district & Piccadilly line. We used it a few times.
St James's Park underground station is served by the Circle and District lines this station has no disabled access only stairs to the platforms. There are two entrances and exits here the ticket hall area is a large size the station was clean and tidy when I came here. TFL head offices 55 Broadway use to be based above St James's Park Station.
What a magnificent art deco building! From the outside has a real wow factor. According to some blurb inside, it was considered Londons 1st skyscraper when built 15 stories. Made me think a little of Langs Metropolis.nShame so many of the retail outlets on the street level are empty, which makes it a bit sad. But the exterior is stunning. Would love to see some of the internal decor of the upper floors.
Just had a walk through as we was staying around the corner on dacre street. Beautiful art deco station
One of my fav Royal park in London city. What a beauty all around. Love lake side area and the view of Buckingham Palace. Colours everywhere in spring season. Has a charm for everyone who came there from differ parts of the world.
