Pretty much tourist central as far as London goes, so if you particularly dislike crowds this area is probably best avoided! A great atmosphere of hustle and bustle though, loads of interesting things to see and do, and great transport links. Needless to say.
Lots and lots of tourists about!nGood photo ops for the Abbey and the Houses of Parliament
Awesome.nVictorian style architecture and modern architecture coexist. A sight to behold.nOn the one side we see the iconic Big Ben and west minster Abbey and on the other the parliament complex and the official residence of the Prime minister.nAll the structures are unique in its own way. A treat to watch.nThe area has been decked up.
An absolute must-see in London. Besides the architectural WONDERS, This is the cradle of Common Wealth, if you think you understand history, come here to see how core institutions have joined hands to rule: church, royals, administration, military, arts - unbelievable.
Using the underground tube for the first time at Christmas whilst it was so busy with a child I was cautious, but it was the easiest, fastest, most uncomplicated form of travelling I've experienced! We went on to use the tube and managed to visit every iconic, historic, and top sightseeing places my son wanted to see thanks to the tube...1 day going tube to tube to tube covering more area and costing less than 1 black cab journey from Westminster to tower bridge!!
