London bridge station was abuzz with activity early on a Thursday morning.nnI was catching the 8:05 Thameslink service to Brighton from Platform 4 but due to disembark at Gatwick airport for onward connections.nnDuring my short wait on the Platform I observed a number of comings and goings, each of which filled me with excitement for the journey to come.nnEverything was functioning as expected, the station was clean and other passengers well behaved.
One of busiest and most important underground stations in London. Northern and Jubilee lines serve this station. Well maintained and have big staff team. Not every time they’re helpful but rude too. It’s all depends how much busy they are. Its pretty much deep underground station.
It's a huge metro station, with many exits. Just be very mindful of where you're going to, and which exit you need to come out of. Given the underground nature of the metro stop, it also gets slightly claustrophobic when there's a crowd. Otherwise, this is a standard older London metro station; don't expect too much.
I think this is physically one of the largest stations in London. There is a lot of open space. The trains arrive here, but also a place where a lot of Underground trains leave for all over the city. There are some shops here where you can buy all sorts of things. If you need any info, there is a information desk here too. The toilets weren't always that clean. They are cleaned regularly, but still not that clean. Probably because they are free and a lot of people are using them. Wouldn't recommend them, but if need be, it is a good place to stop.
Are you joking? You have 30 female toilets and only 3 shared gender neutral facilities? In new facilities that literally only opened this year after so many years of building? Wow...
