If you pay for the tube then you can open the barrier and the station guards will just watch as the fare invaders push past.nWhat great country we live in.nBut it’s ok tfl will increase the fares for the paying customers in order to combat this.
There are 270 stations on London’s underground system and here find one that makes up the number.nUnusual platform benches here .nPerhaps recalled as the scene of an unfortunate incident in 2005, commemorated by a mosaic at the station entrance.
The station provides access to two fast and regular tube lines, the Victoria Line and the Northern Line. The interchange between the two is short and getting down to platform level is quick. The area around Stockwell is quite picturesque, especially the war memorial. However be careful leaving your bike locked up outside as crims can strip it for parts.
I need to give a special thanks to the staff at stockwell Station who went above beyond to get my work card back for me as it dropped on the tracks.nEspecially want to give a massive thank you to Cynthia for going out of her way and pulling strings to retrieve it back for me.nAnd to joe while for helping me log down the incident and giving it back to me and also Mo tall guy for helping me on the the platform to roughly located where it could of gone and making sure i was safe while showing him as i did try to peak over but he stopped me and explained the safest way was to go to the supervior and they could help.nnAgain thanks for the help more stations need staff like stockwell station staff.
A nice station that sournds by bus station, many bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Easy access to London. Safe in night and early morning.
