Clapham Junction train station is one of the busiest train stations in London the passenger numbers interchanging with different trains and leaving and entering is a lot. There are three entrances and exits to this station there is disabled access to all platforms via lifts and London Overground Southern and Southwestern trains all serve this station with trains heading towards Victoria, London Bridge, West Brompton, East Croydon and Richmond along with many other destinations. The three ticket hall areas are large and wide and there are toilets inside the station along with cash machines and coffee shops. No matter what time of the day it is this station is always packed with passengers so be aware of this when trying to move around quickly there are 17 platforms here all used by different trains. If you don't like really busy packed train stations avoid Clapham Junction.
Busiest station in Britain, possibly even Europe. It has been updated alot since it was built back in 1863. Has a selection of shops in the underground tunnel and foyer.nThere is also a bridge tunnel connecting all the platforms. In fact is this bridge which makes all the platforms truly accessible as all platforms have a lift to this bridge.nStaff are very friendly and helpful on all 3 lines Southern, South Western and Overground.nIt goes up to London Victoria or London Waterloo northbound, but to lots and lots of places going southnThere are buses outside, but nearest tube is Clapham South Northern line which is a good 20 minute walk away or longer if you're not a walker.nFun fact : Despite the station being called Clapham Junction, it isn't in Clapham at all, but is in fact Battersea.
Big Place and Very Busy Train Station. I like the way how they manage and help people get where they want to go. The Station staff at Clapham Junction they’re the best. Great Communication, helpful, and Friendly. Honestly they’re working really hard on Helping people . And giving Information to the Community on how to get at their destination
One of the busiest rail station of UK which has 17 platforms. This station is serving by overground, Southern, Gatwick and South West railways. All the trains from Victoria and Waterloo pass from this station. You can get trains for Brighton, Bournemouth, Southampton, Gatwick airport etc. there’s a tunnel which connecting all the platforms for easy commuting. Good location as next to high street. Have a lot of facilities such as coffee shops, eateries and drinking places. Have toilets but not much and plenty of lifts.nGates are always looked after by big staff team who are sometimes helpful. Pharmacy and small supermarket outlets are there in the station.
One of my favorite stops in London has everything and is clean and tidy. The bathroom is free and visited by many, but it still shines with cleanliness. 5 stars for everything.nLast time, I did not have time to shoot all the entries of my beloved Clapham Junstion, now I have time and I add more photos that carry more detailed information about all the services you can use at the stop and the shopping center that is located at the entrance to the Central entrance to the checkers. :nAs the stop is very frequent and busy, there are almost always patrolling policemen who, with their presence, keep order and observance of the rules. In England, everyone respects the police as an instance and the policemen who patrol because they know they can rely on them for their normal residence anywhere, and they have personally helped me to navigate the direction or looking for something important, and I do not currently have the Internet or interrupts to use navigation.
