Was just asking for advice very nicely at the ticket office, and both men behind it were so rude and unhelpful and quite frankly their behaviour felt rather sexist. Having called Streatham my home for the past 6 years and using this station regularly, it's pretty sad to be treated that way.
Every time we are at the station the lifts never fully work. Either one is working from platform 2 and then the other is not working to platform 1 etc. Not great when you travel with a buggy. Adding to that, all toilets are locked today.
The ticket office was open the place was pretty clean.nTicket machine was working I spot member of staff visible.
I was horrendously stoped by a man wearing the southern rail uniform asking me to stop taking a picture. He had no manners whatsoever not to say it is utterly unfair and bonkers. I like to take pictures of urban unusual buildings and a facade of one of those facing the rail caught my attention. For the first time in my whole time living in London this uncomfortable unfortunate event happen.
08.9.2023, delightful lady at the ticket kiosk served me with a smile and suggested the best prices. Train came and departed on time. Usually good Thameslink service from this station from Brightton Via Gatwick Airport, through London to St Albans and Luton airport.
