I just wanted to write in a review about the amazing service I had from a member of staff named Catherine on Tuesday 17th February 2026.nWe arrived in Victoria station on platform 17 on the Oxted train at around 12.10pm. I had a query and was greeted with the biggest smile from Catherine who helped me with my issue efficiently and with such compassion. She was extremely approachable and super friendly!nI just wanted to get some good recognition for this lady as she so deserves it. Catherine really is an asset to your company and I am so grateful you have staff like this within your business!nGreat job!
Victoria Station is best known as the main terminus for the Brighton Main Line, along with the Gatwick Express. I went there with my parents on a Wednesday morning and we rode the train to East Grinstead and back. It can be really busy with so many crowds roaming about, but this railway station has a spacious atmosphere and their Victorian architecture mixed quite well with modern amenities.
Excellent location-friendly international and local terminal. Many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Helpful staff to find your way around London and beyond. Coach bus, tubesubway and train services available. Pubs nearby.
I´ve been to this station a couple of times. This year, while in London, I arrived at the train station with my family and we had to wait for a couple of hours for our check-in. We saw typical situations at stations, but in general, the atmosphere was ok. We found a couple of benches where we had a quick lunch and some rest before going to our hotel. There is quite a lot of variety in terms of fast-food and services. There is an information office for those seeking for means of transport the staff is super kind and helpful, currency exchange, luggage storage, etc.
