Great station with a lot of access points to the underground. Nice food court with all the popular brands. Connections to almost everywhere possible. Signage to give directions available all around and easy to navigate without asking for help. Staff always on standby to answer questions and help if needed.
The main London railway stations are real architectural treasures, and Paddington Station is certainly one of them.nnAlways a great place to explore and take photographs. Worth going there very early for your train, just for another look around!nnVery functional as well, providing as good a service as you can get with so many variables. Usually pretty clean and tidy.
2024/12nPaddington Station in London is a bustling, historic transportation hub that offers a unique blend of classic architecture and modern convenience. As one of the city's major railway stations, it’s a gateway to and from the West of England, connecting London to destinations like Oxford, Bath, and Bristol. The station itself is an iconic landmark, known for its grand Victorian design, with its striking glass roof and beautiful facade.nnInside, the station has a lively atmosphere, with passengers rushing to catch trains, while others pause to admire the architecture or enjoy a coffee at one of the many cafes. Paddington is also famous for the Paddington Bear statue, located near the main concourse, a beloved nod to the popular children's character. The area around the station is filled with shops, restaurants, and hotels, making it a convenient and vibrant spot for visitors to explore.nnIn addition to its practicality, Paddington Station is situated in a charming part of London, close to Hyde Park and other attractions, making it a great starting point for further exploration. Whether you're passing through or spending time in the area, Paddington Station provides a welcoming and historic introduction to the city.
Lovely transit train station!!nThough, I had a quick time to enjoy the view of the station because i have to catch my flight via Heathrow Express.nNevertheless, I enjoyed my short time to appreciate the beauty of the station.nAlso, the structural design of Paddington is amazing.nService was awesome. Easy to navigate your designated train to go for your final destination.
Paddington was the original London Treminus for the Great Western Railway and shows the vision of Brunel in the massive structure and vaulting glass canopy. Impressively light and uncluttered, the concourse has a large open feel with ample room for all the passengers and their luggage. It seems that all sides have a retail outlet of some sort and there are even more on the route out to the Grand canal. Just love the atmosphere of this cathedral like place. It is not just the bear that impresses.
