Seen a lot of changes in the 47 years I have known this station The hub of things during Wimbledon fortnight, flowers festoon platforms and concourse , queues for taxi's and the bus shuttle add to the buzz It was not all that long ago that you could drive up to the entrance now pedestrianised, A local landmark is the great Irish elk ( See photo) Lifts to all platforms a god send.

Trains, underground amd tram services at one station. Helpful staff, good service. Surrounded by shopping mall n a lot of branded stores as well as nice restaurants for lunch & dinner

Good station. Clean. Tube District line and Overground and Railway stations all together. Many shops around. Located on a busy High Road, next to shops, cafés, restaurants and Wimbledon shopping centre. There is a taxi stop next to it and some outdoor seating.

Would be helpful if the board that showed which tube platform left first was actually accurate.
