Tooting station is served by Thameslink trains which go to Sutton via Wimbledon and London Blackfriars. The station doesn't have any disabled access to the platforms. the ticket hall is very very small with just three gates to tap your oyster. Trains are every 30min here.
No step-free access.nnDisplays often don't work, saying to visit the TfL or equivalent website for details.nnSince they brought in electronic ticket gates it can be difficult entering the station when a train is due - they only have one gate for in and one for out. If you're stuck behind a dawdler you risk missing your train.nnThe ticket machines are outside the station and as a result they fail during particularly inclement weather which leaves you rather scuppered. They have on occasion taken the money, but not debited it to your Oyster card appropriately - when the issue was raised with staff they accuse you of lying.nnOysters cannot be topped up from the ticket window, only from the machines in the street.nnStaff are very quick to issue fines if you travel with insufficient funds to complete your journey.nnIf you want a Metro, the box is hidden behind the door on the left-hand side.
