Beautiful example of an overground Victorian station. Large ticket hall with good connecting bus routes and good train links. Has lots of benches and long platforms so unless it’s really super busy it doesn’t feel too crowded. Nice local area too.
Avoid travelling through here whenever I can. Last minute cancellations. They are forever changing platforms last minute. I have changed platforms 3 times this morning. So many people you have to queue on the stairs. It is rarely a joy getting to and from work.
I used to live around n traveling from this station a lot. Defo this station is blessing to travel because there’s no train station around to cover this area.nThis area is important for one of London biggest hospital Kings College Hospital. Hundreds of people travel there for this hospital. Even after starting Overground service from this station, it’s more easy to travel by more choice n availability of trains in an hour.
Nice location in London close to parks and restaurants and coffee shops.
As railway stations in London go... this is more pleasant than most
