Waterloo Station

Massive station and always incredibly busy. The intersection in front of the station is very dangerous. There are some good restaurants on the first floor, overlooking the crowds downstairs. In wintertime there are often nice carols. Connections are good and delays are usually few. Very big underground station as well with a maze of tunnels.

A good station with connections to The south West of London & England, served by South Western Trains. There is a direct link to the London underground and a choice of tube services which includes the Northern Line, Waterloo & City Line, The Bakerloo line and Jubilee line. Waterloo station has many options of food outlets to choose from which can be found on the station floor, on the Mezzanine and on the lower floor. There are also a few stores which are perfect for gift style items. The location of Waterloo is within striking range to the London Eye and South Bank, so perfect for those whom wist to sight see.

The expansion of the former Eurostar terminal took nearly 10 years. Even then, only one platform of the five is fully utilized. Pitiful as that's extra capacity that the station needs. Interchange between the different underground lines can be a pain due to long walks and escalators (only the Jubilee Line is fully step free) and the station is almost unbelievable in terms of passenger numbers during the peak.

Great London Station with all that you need, the two negatives are toilets are free and last train is not late enough...saying that as long SW-Train operate on time I love my commute.

One of the best stations in the UK. The connections here take you to a wide variety of destinations. South West trains, South Eastern and the London Underground can boarded from this station. Also there is a wide variety of shops! It might be very busy at peak times but that’s expected from such a large and well connected rail station!🚉
