Just had a weekend stay in the Atlanta and it was fantastic. From our welcome on arrival,the lovely, warm bedroom and a cracking breakfast. We stayed in room zero which has no steps to climb but no view as it is towards the rear of the hotel but on the long dark winter evenings this is no problem. Beautiful decor with good sized en suite and a lovely comfy bed. Breakfast room is again beautifully decorated and a lovely place to sit. Thank you!
We just spent the weekend here at Atlanta. Yvette and Mark are superb hosts. The room was very clean, welcoming and a comfy bed. Nice touch with fresh milk avaliable for room, water fountain and even washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel in the room. Breakfast was amazing, cooked to order and nice choice. Seafront is just over the road, close to Pier and the town. Definitely will visit again. Thanks from Angie and James

Lovely room, big bed, at the top of the house, I was well warned about this as there isn't a lift, it wasn't a problem. Room was very quiet even with the windows open.Rooms: 5/5

We stayed 2 nights and had a lovely time. The owners Mark/Yvette make you feel like you're a guest in their home rather than staying at a hotel. Which was very refreshing. The breakfasts were excellent and far surpassed my expectations. A pot of tea, selection of juices, full English home cooked with no skimping on the ingredients and table service with a view of the sea while you eat. Can't ask for more. If you're looking for an atmosphere of friendliness and a genuine care for the little details in making sure the stay is a lovely one for a reasonable value and great location, look no further. If we ever make our way back to Eastbourne, we'll definitely be staying here and look forward to seeing Mark, Yvette, and Pickle again! Rooms: Great little rooms, bathroom a bit on the small side if you're tall but nice big shower.
I went to the Atlanta Hotel with my son who is considering where he might live. The hotel is well placed on the seafront and we ate òur very nice breakfast looking òut at the sea. The rooms were warm and comfortable, very clean and well maintained. Both rooms were on the first floor, the stairs were easily accessible with a sturdy bannister Although we did not keep late hours, we had our own front door keys as the desk was not manned, there was a bell if we needed anything. The proprietors were welcoming and friendly. We didn't have our own transport but found buses easily accessible, the drivers were helpful and informative. Just as well as parking is difficult. A lovely weekend stay. Good WiFi. Nearby activities: The seafront was on the doorstep. Eastbourne Town was a 20min walk. The Pier had some activities open. Plenty of easy walks along the coast and inland and buses available. We had dinner in The Crown and Anchor Greene Kings pub which served a very good dinner and staff were exceptionally attentive. The pub like others had live music at the weekends. We went on the guided sightseeing tour by open top bus. Picturesk with an informative recorded script, wheel chair accessible. Walkability: Paths were mostly level . Access to the seafront would be possible for wheelchairs. The town and area are,in parts, very hilly with steep slopes but buses go to these areas . The journey by bus from Brighton to Eastbourne takes a while but goes along the coast and across the south downs.
Yvette and Mark are wonderful hosts! I come to Eastbourne for work and always stay here. They cool you breakfast to order and it's fab. Rooms are immaculate. Amazing value for money.
I stayed in this lovely hotel from the 15 to 20 December. The hotel is small and very clean. Breakfast is lovely, freshly cooked and plenty of it. I stayed in room 9 on the top floor. The room has beautiful views straight out to sea. It’s a very large, well equipped and beautifully furnished. Mark and Yvette are excellent hosts. Parking is on the street and you can buy vouchers at £2 a time for twenty four hours. I was staying in the winter and had no problem finding a parking space.
