East Croydon is a very convenient and well-connected station, making travel around London and beyond quick and easy. Trains are frequent, platforms are clearly marked, and the station is generally efficient even during busy times. It offers fast links to central London, Gatwick Airport, and many other destinations, which makes it extremely practical for commuters and visitors. The station has useful shops, coffee spots, and helpful facilities for travelers. Staff were professional and the overall experience was smooth. The area around the station is modern and continues to improve, with plenty of restaurants, hotels, and businesses nearby. A reliable transport hub that plays an important role in South London travel. Great for anyone needing quick connections and easy access across the city.
Amazing helpful staff everywhere very knowledgeable and willing to assist. Huge station so some trains are delayed but its not stations fault. One of the biggest and best train stations we have in London and u can catch a train to literally everywhere. Sometimes problem with tickets occur but staff is fast to help and ensure the safety of all passengers which I really like big thanks to everyone who works there, you are amazing at what you do. I easily get lost but thanks to the lovely ladies and gentlemen there I always make it to the platform and train I need. Simply brilliant
I am disappointed with the level of customer service I have repeatedly experienced at the East Croydon ticket counter.nnThere is one member of staff in particular whose attitude I have found consistently rude, arrogant, and confrontational. Even when I am simply asking a straightforward question, I often feel as though I am being spoken to in an impatient or dismissive manner.nnI appreciate that working at a busy ticket office can be challenging and that staff are likely asked the same questions many times throughout the day. As someone who works in customer service myself, I understand how demanding the role can be. However, this does not justify speaking to customers in an unfriendly or confrontational way.nnUnfortunately, because of previous experiences, I now try to avoid any conversation with this member of staff. I simply purchase my ticket as quickly as possible and leave, yet I still feel uncomfortable with the way I am spoken to. I have also witnessed similar interactions with other members of the public.nnI am submitting this complaint because I believe all customers deserve to be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate action is taken to improve the customer experience at the East Croydon ticket office.
This was a fantastic station for both arrival and departure, with long platforms for the variety of train services! Pathway and bridge have a large area, departure boards are kept up to date too. Staff were nice and the waiting area is sufficient, cleanliness had been maintained!
It's was fine, no violence while I was there
