Typical travel lodge, you get what you pay for. I paid £200+ per night due to a last minute booking. The shopping centre car park is connected to the hotel and easily accessible, which is the main reason I booked. Can be on the noisy side.
My stay at the travelodge was lovely, the location of the hotel was ideal and I requested to stay on either the 1st or 2nd or 3rd floor, when I arrived they told me I’d be on the 3rd floor but they were really lovely and put me on the 2nd floor instead to make it more convenient for me. There were 2 ladies who work there that were lovely, helpful and welcoming when I arrived by the name of Teresa and Larisa, Teresa was incredibly welcoming and Larisa was so helpful helping me work the TV and heating in the room. Tea, coffee and milk is unlimited and u can ask for toilet paper whenever u need it.nReview by sharon
I recently stayed at this place, and was disgusted by being met with a racist and creepy atmosphere. The behavior of certain staff members made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was treated differently because of simply being Jewish , which is unacceptable.nnThe hotel's failure to ensure an inclusive environment for all guests is alarming.nnThis place was also full of bugs and they didn't give a damn about it. This is totally unacceptable as nothing was done to avoid these issues.nnI will not be returning to this hotel and would caution others to think twice before booking. You will be mistreated here.nnSAVE YOURSELF BY AVOIDING THIS!!
I can't speak for every room, but I stayed in room 301, and what an absolute dump it was.. Staines on curtains, dirty mug and spoon left in the room, cracks and dirt on walls, mould, dirt and hair in bathroom, soap despenser was empty or broken, all usb ports are broken so I couldn't charge my phone. I paid £84 for this room . One positive, the bed was comfy but would be interesting to see with a blue light.nnAlso reception tell you parking is free for 12hrs then you have to pay.. if you do have to stay at this dump for whatever reason, put your number plate in the hotel screen not in the carpark drive out and come back in, this resets your 12hrs free parking always remember to put your number plate in when leaving your welcome ‍nnThis hotel also has no hot breakfast or bar.nnThe location is good, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Wood Green Station is a 5-minute walk, Alexander Palace is about a 10-minute drive depending on traffic, parking 30 mins free, then £1.75phnnAs the room is a dump, I suppose it's the location that I paid for. Still, all in all, it is priced and not worth the money. Honestly, it was the worst travelodge I've stayed in. I would advise maintenance, and housekeeping is highly needed at this so-called hotel.
