I recently stayed at this place, and was disgusted by being met with a racist and creepy atmosphere. The behavior of certain staff members made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I was treated differently because of simply being Jewish , which is unacceptable.nnThe hotel's failure to ensure an inclusive environment for all guests is alarming.nnThis place was also full of bugs and they didn't give a damn about it. This is totally unacceptable as nothing was done to avoid these issues.nnI will not be returning to this hotel and would caution others to think twice before booking. You will be mistreated here.nnSAVE YOURSELF BY AVOIDING THIS!!
I can't speak for every room, but I stayed in room 301, and what an absolute dump it was.. Staines on curtains, dirty mug and spoon left in the room, cracks and dirt on walls, mould, dirt and hair in bathroom, soap despenser was empty or broken, all usb ports are broken so I couldn't charge my phone. I paid £84 for this room . One positive, the bed was comfy but would be interesting to see with a blue light.nnAlso reception tell you parking is free for 12hrs then you have to pay.. if you do have to stay at this dump for whatever reason, put your number plate in the hotel screen not in the carpark drive out and come back in, this resets your 12hrs free parking always remember to put your number plate in when leaving your welcome ‍nnThis hotel also has no hot breakfast or bar.nnThe location is good, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Wood Green Station is a 5-minute walk, Alexander Palace is about a 10-minute drive depending on traffic, parking 30 mins free, then £1.75phnnAs the room is a dump, I suppose it's the location that I paid for. Still, all in all, it is priced and not worth the money. Honestly, it was the worst travelodge I've stayed in. I would advise maintenance, and housekeeping is highly needed at this so-called hotel.
Brilliant location, really close to the underground that gives a direct line into the theater district, cheap, but clean and more than suitable, the staff were fantastic very friendly, would stay again
I had a terrible a story with 1 of the staff I am jewish and I checked in to the hotel. while I was walking around the hallway I was a conference call and it was noicey so I opened a door that was a storage room so I entered with out knowing that this is a private room for staff. While I was on that phone call a staff member which was a woman came in start screaming and slapping me with her hands on me and told me I was not allowed to be there so I Said I'm sorry and apologize to her but she even start screaming on me even more and slapping with her hands to leve the hotel within 5 min. At the same time she had my other group members staying at the hotel also leve within 5 min if not she wall the police to arrest me I became scared since she had expressed anti jewish statements on me so we packed up and had to leve the hotel we had to stay on the street for 3 hours until we finally find a hotel on the area. We are working now with legal services to file a complaint on this hotel and sue them for discrimination. please Don't use this hotel. It's a place where u mide be discriminated and being throw out on the street and staff will also use ther hands on your self slapping and screaming
