Booked a small room for one night, and it has everything you need and nothing you don't. Clearly designed to fit the most amount of rooms in the space, but done really well. Perfect, especially if your staying is short. Friendly reception staff, no fuss, highly recommended
I stayed for the second time in this hotel. This time in a large Double Bed Room. I think this hotel with its value-for-money is fantastic. As I am staying in every kind of hotels from Low-Star to Five-Star, I have seen a lot before. This hotel is based in London, therefore your are in the city with it's bustling surroundings. If you inform yourself, you can find out as this environment is close to the train tracks Overground and Railway services 24 hours. And so what? Close the window and the noise is fine, let it open and put some Earplugs in. And so what? If that is not enough, book at Hilton or Marriott and figure out that some circumstances are given back in the price-you-pay. I have asked this time to stay with view to the train station as I appreciate with it and the view you get. KIP Hotel: Stay on with your idea, I will be back soon - great concept.. Rooms for 50-70 pounds / night.. Thank you!!
Great budget-friendly choice in London, where hotels can be notoriously expensive. For less than £45 a night excluding taxes, I had a private room to myself – a price that’s almost unbeatable here. Realistically, the only cheaper option would be a hostel bed, and that means sharing a room with several others. For me, having my own space was well worth it.nnYes, the room is small – just a single bed, TV, desk, and chair – but it had everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, there were charging ports beside, and I liked that there was plenty of space under the bed to tuck away luggage. The room was also very clean, and the shared bathroom was kept spotless.nnI did read a lot of negative reviews about the windowless single rooms being hot and stuffy. I stayed during August and didn’t experience that at all. The centralized AC worked well, and I requested a fan just in case – which staff happily provided, though I never had to use it. I feel like many of the complaints don’t take into account the price point. For what you pay, this is more than fair.nnThe staff were welcoming and helpful online and in-person, and the free coffee in the lobby was a nice bonus. Lots of food places nearby and well-connected to the city via The Overground.nnThe only thing to note is the area: it can look a little rough around the edges, and some people might find it sketchy. That said, I was traveling solo female and often came back late at night – I never once felt unsafe.
Never again.nnI’m a 50kg girl and I had 70kg luggage, the receptionist just stood there watching me push all my bags demanding the keys and offering zero help, like what’s wrong with men these days??nnThe walls are too thin you hear everything from the trains, cargo trains, footsteps, people arguing outside, people from other rooms ughnnThe heating doesn’t work so I had to leave the small heater from the bathroom on to heat the whole room.nnThe cleaners would leave trash in my room, towels and bedsheets with hairs, hairs in my shower that are clearly not mine cause I don’t have thin straight hair…. Seriously I paid 1200£ for this?
Kip Hotel offers excellent comfort on a budget in one of the world’s most expensive cities.I stayed at the Kip Hotel near Hackney Central Station last week and had an excellent experience. The bathrooms were immaculately clean, there were numerous dining options nearby, and the location couldn't be more convenient. The staff—especially Manzur—were incredibly helpful with every detail. I felt very safe throughout my stay, making it a great choice for female travelers. If the rooms feel a bit claustrophobic, I recommend requesting one with a window—it really improves the comfort.
