Our stay at The May Fair was truly exceptional, thanks to Andrea Ivanova. She went above and beyond, helping with our bags, providing an amazing restaurant list, and handling every request with ease and professionalism. Her service made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. A big thank you to Andrea for making our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this hotel.
We had a unique experience at the hotel because my wife became ill with a significant virus while we were there in mid-October. The hotel was incredibly accommodating because of that. We had to extend our stay twice because she was not able to travel and the hotel handled the changes seamlessly. More important than what the hotel did was the thoughtfulness that staff extended to us during the stay, consistently asking how she was feeling and if they could help in any way. Numerous front desk personnel helped us with different things but I especially want to mention Claudia, Sadie, Oksana, and at check out Andrea N. Getting ill in a foreign country is very unnerving and these women and indeed the whole staff really lightened our situation by their attentive and thoughtful actions.
We just came back from London. While we were there we Decided to stay at the Mayfair. I can only highly recommend to stay there. Do not hesitate. I travel for work so I’m used to staying in hotels. When we arrived, the hotel kindly offered us an upgrade. In our room, we had an issue with the bathroom. I mentioned that to the lobby manager Mrs Ana Z.. This lady made our stay so special that I can only congratulate the hotel for hiring people that are so customer centric and caring about Customer’s satisfaction. She made sure that we get a fantastic new room and offered us some special treatments. Thank you so much Ana and we will for sure come back and recommend the hotel.
We stayed for two nights. The location is amazing. The hotel was so busy. And we noticed a lot of guests from the Gulf area. The rooms were nice. The amenities, in my opinion, are missing. Like a toothbrush and toothpaste. What I didn't like was that the full daybwe were out. Once we were back in the afternoon, they came to clean the room. And they don't replenish the water. So when we ask for a bottle of water, they will charge you . In general good experience and the hotel is recommended.
Excellent hotel in Mayfair. The hotel staff was very attentive for our 3 day business event. Martin with the AV was very helpful, knowledgeable, and made everything smooth. Irina at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind. Definitely recommend for business or pleasure.Rooms: 4/5
We stayed for two nights in November. Busy schedule in London so no chance to sample the restaurants. Full marks to the service and especially to the outstanding reception team. They did their best to accommodate an early check in and gave a free drink in the bar when they were not able to straightaway. Great location for Mayfair, Green Park and an easy and fantastic walk into central London.
Everything about this hotel was perfect. The front desk representative - Kim was amazing. She was so friendly, nice and ensured that I received the best service. I always would love to commend their concierge team as well, especially Michael. The hotel is located in a very great area. I felt very safe. The rooms are large and the room designs are very modern. I loved it. I love the Mayfair Hotel lines when I’m in London. I’ll definitely be back to this one.
Hello our stay at the Mayfair was outstanding! Irina was extremely helpful & caring! Because of her personality & kindness our stay was one of the best ever hotel stays, for both my wife and me!! Jeremy was also helpful and friendly! He is one of the bell persons! In our opinion these two people made our stay extremely memorable!! We will go back again!! Walkability: Great location to get on the bus or train. We walked everywhere and we had no issues!!
This was a very comfortable stay with May Fair Hotel. We were met by a very kind person, Andrea, who allowed and helped us with an early check in and upgrade in a room. The hotel room and location were excellent too. People at reception and lobby helped us also with items we left for short storage between we checked out and returned for departing.
The May Fair is obviously a luxurious hotel, with a great location. Overall, staff are polite, helpful, and friendly. The rooms and the restaurant are what you might expect from a hotel at this price range. However, a detail at the end of my 9-day stay soured the whole experience. On the day I checked in, I went to the gym, and spoke with the spa receptionist next door. I asked him about opening hours for the sauna, and then he told me that they also provided other spa services massages etc.. He volunteered that piece of information - I never hire massages at hotels, as they tend to be overpriced. Out of curiosity, I asked how much it cost, and he said it was all included in the price which is uncommon, but I thought they might provide complimentary spa treatments to special groups as mine - over 40 people staying for 9 nights at the hotel. I told him I might come back for that, but had a very busy week, and never managed to do so. On my last day, I managed to book a short relaxation massage. I went to the spa, filled in the form saying that I was a staying guest, and provided my details. At no point did anyone talk about money, or mention prices. When I was leaving the spa, the receptionist a different one stopped me and asked how I was going to pay! I was surprised or should I say shocked!, as I had been specifically told by them that it was free of charge. She insisted, and did not want me to leave without paying as if I carried my wallet and credit card into the sauna. I told her I had to go back to my room I was just wearing a bathrobe, and that I would talk with the reception desk or the manager about it. After getting dressed, I met with the hotel manager, and she apologised for the 'miscommunication', but insisted that I should pay. I gave her the name of the attendant who told me it was free, but she still said that I had to pay, and that it cost 85 pounds. After I protested that I was very displeased and that it was not fair for a guest to pay for the hotel's mistake, she said she would do her best to remove 50% of the cost, but that she could not do more than that. At this stage, I was checking out, and they had my card details on hold for all the extras meals etc., so there wasn't much I could do. Despite my protests, they ended up charging me 42.50 pounds for a service they had offered me for free. I believe the spa receptionist made a mistake saying it was free, and the manager made an even worse mistake making me pay for their miscommunication. Long story short, if you are staying at the May Fair, be careful with what they offer you - it might come at a price. Noteworthy details: Any service provider - especially at this price range - must own up to their mistakes. The May Fair did not do so, which is a shame. As described above in length, one of their staff offered me a service for free, but they charged me in the end, and labelled it as 'miscommunication'. If it was indeed an honest mistake, they should have recognised it, and not have me pay for it.
