Lovely hotel. Didn't stay long because our stay was due to our flight leaving without 17 of us, but the staff was always friendly, helpful and professional. We had vouchers for room and food from the airline that made us miss our connection, and although it didn't look traditionally like what the hotel is use to seeing, they allowed us to have dinner while they found and assigned us rooms. It was a long wait until we got a room, but the staff was very kind and understanding, even to those who were upset. Thank you all for helping us as best as you could!
This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's an airport hotel so I didn't have very high expectations but they have really taken care of me and given upgrades. Alina is great at the front desk. I am a plane geek so I love the runway views. They also have an executive lounge that is above average especially for high usage. The breakfast buffet is really good. Even with the high turnover the hotel is really soundproof as well. The hotel could use some more lighting in the rooms.
Stayed one night before we went on holiday. The room was more than adequate for one night's stay in fact we have stayed in worse rooms for a holiday duration. Check in and check out simple. Right outside the hotel entrance we caught the hotel hopper bus to the airport at the time of writing £13.80 for 2 adults single took no more than 10. Alot cheaper than taxi. We will definitely consider this hotel again.
Absolutely lovely for the price and location. It felt like a warm welcome immediately and I have to highlight the above and beyond service of Pamela at the front desk. We knew we were in good hands immediately. Thank you Pamela and to all the warm and welcoming staff here.Rooms: 5/5
I stayed here the night before my trip to the States. With it being a semi early flight I found it better to not chance heading down on the day. My room was not ready on arrival but I was made welcome, had my luggage taken and taken to the executive lounge to relax whilst it was prepared. I opted for the runway suite room just to treat myself a little and I found it a nice touch. The view was decent enough but was more a ‘partial’ runway view for accuracy. I’m not sure if I drew the short straw of runway suites but it wasn’t the greatest view. The bedroom view was straight into the side of a wall ha. The bathroom was amazing with a large freestanding bath as well as great shower facilities and plenty of toiletries should you have forgotten your own. The food was to my liking and I found the overall service incredible. I absolutely would stay here again but would opt out of runway suite rooms. I would 100% suggest a simple Uber to the airport as the shuttle is crowded and can take a while to arrive.
I stayed as part of a conference. The room was good, although there was no view from my window. My colleague had a view of the runway, so some had good views. The food provided, as part of the conference, was really good, but evening meals were very expensive. The staff were very friendly and all in all, it was a good place to stay.
Areas of the hotel are a little tired. The room and bathroom are spacious and well looked after. But what really stood out for me was the phenomenal customer service. I was very well looked after by two friendly and courteous gentleman. What a pleasure .Rooms: 5/5
Rooms were pretty standard, unfortunately they were sprayed with some sort of intense fragrance before I checked in that was extremely aggravating to my allergies. The hot water never got properly hot either, just warm. The biggest problem was that it took 4 hours for them to prep a room after being booked there by my airline. I think they need more staff, that wait was insane.
We had a one night stay, prior to flying out of Heathrow and paid a little extra for an executive room. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable and come with a great runway view. A big plus is added access to the Executive Lounge, with free beer & wine, canapés and snacks in the evening and free continental breakfast in the morning. This saved us paying out for two meals. Parking is included in the price and you can leave your car at the hotel for the duration of your holiday at an extra cost.
Got put up here after we missed my BA connecting flight due to delays. We were told to wait in an area and fill in a form to get a room - that was fine. We were then waiting for around 20 minutes. Conscious of mealtimes, we then made our way to the desk. The first girl who spoke to us was actually very helpful and told us our rooms weren't ready yet but we could explain that to the restaurant staff. We were told we had to dine in a specific area reserved for those referred by BA. The dinner was very disappointing, with limited options and we were only served water. We finish our dinners to get back to our room, but we're told they're still not ready. We wait for over an hour before going to the desk, where the extremely rude manager informs us there are actually no rooms available this is after around 15 minutes of not taking us on. We say that we were told we were being allocated rooms - another staff member had to inform him that we were getting rooms. We received no apology. About 30 minutes later, the manager disappears and sends a trainee employee to deal with us as I assume he thought we'd be belligerent. This member of staff was perfectly capable, and we weren't rude at all; I just couldn't believe a manager would put a trainee in a potentially unpleasant situation. The rooms themselves were nothing special. The bed was comfortable but the room was cold, even after trying to adjust the temperature. Really didn't appreciate how we were spoken to after an already stressful day. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience the entire time.
