13.04.2024 Loud! Arrived at 5.30pm Saturday night. Hotel is part of Riverside complex so parking is not free/discounted. Room upstairs on first floor. Window did not close properly. Water left in basin from cleaners/previous guest. At 11pm I could hear next door having a bath and singing loudly. Could hear dog barking in room opposite. Could hear a fat person in the room above stamping around. Ask for a room at the back as would not hear so much traffic noise. Paid £53 for double room and fold up bed for daughter. No breakfast. Tea and coffee available. Get what you pay for. Good location. Easy to find. Drop box for key at reception when leaving. Rooms: Basic room. Nearby activities: In shopping complex, plenty of dinner/lunch options.
Fantastic location. Relatively inexpensive parking at nearby two rivers carpark. The hotel is very tired. Carpets in the hall need to be cleaned to remove the numerous stains. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The chair in the room needs to be skipped as it had two chunks out of it. There was no flushing toilet throughout our two night stay. Despite raising this with staff, there is no interest in resolving issues. This resulted in our family using mcdonald's for a toilet facility. I was also concerned to see a fire door being propped open with a fire extinguisher. I have raised these issues with travelodge, so I await a reply. Premier Inn nearby. Food & drinks: Excellent range of eateries nearby. Short walk into town centre. Next door to brewery, few minutes away from McDonald's.
Everything was perfect. Went to visit my family so stayed here for a while, staffs were friendly and helpful, room was clean altogether it was a perfect stay... Highly recommended if u are looking for something cheap accommodation.........Rooms: 5/5
Great location but unfortunately the rooms are a bit dated. Not enough plug sockets or light switches. The lights are too bright. The bathroom flooded after the shower.Rooms: 2/5
We stopped here after spending the day at Chessington world of adventures and going to Thorpe park the following day. For the price you can’t complain! Staff were friendly. Room was standard which was all we really wanted. The car park was literally across the road where there were lots of different shops and places to eat!
Have stayed here a few times over the years and each time hoping the rooms would get better however they are really outdated! The bathrooms are not nice and the bedrooms are also the kind where you wipe your feet on the way out! I am aware that travelodge is supposed to be cheap and cheerful however here it isn’t far off a hostel at best! Next time we are in the area we will avoid 100% due to uncleanliness as we have given them enough years to improve with nothing done with black mold rank carpets and awful bedding! Definitely give travelodge a bad name!
The room was clean, but the bathroom smelled damp and the shower curtain stank. Was advise of parking on-site then told to park in the shopping center. You can hear the people moving around in the room above, which at 2am is very annoying. Won’t race back as there is a premium inn round the cornerRooms: 2/5
I mean it's a Travelodge, it does the job. We found the service very hit or miss with some staff being lovely and some quite cold. The carpet in the room was very mucky and stained I wouldn't go barefoot, bathroom was super clean but the towels were sort of chucked on the side half folded, kettle was very clean, mattress looked quite new actually. We had only 3 pillows as the 4th was a very hard cushion in a pillow case, we did request an actual pillow but they told us they had none, bed itself was comfy and we slept well, be aware that there is very little sound proofing but thankfully neighbours were quiet. The location is great, right next to Two Rivers with some great places to browse and eat, we had 2 days at Thorpe Park which is about £9 each way with Uber or there is a bus, Heathrow is close if you're travelling onward or doing some plane-spotting, overall very standard.
Worst Travelodge I've ever staid at. When trying to book on line, with problems adding a second person to enable to select two breakfast. Also check what they provide for breakfast, before ticking the option. On arrival the date had changed on the booking, when the booking was checked four times before proceeding, due to the above problems. Got charged an extra £16 for their error! Room dirty with marks on the barth, no fan in the bathroom, window catches missing, beds uncomfortable, with no local power sockets next to the bed. Argumentative unhelpful staff.
It's basic Terrible beds. Stayed at both Egham and Staines this week and the beds were horrific. U could run your hands down the sides of the beds and feel just springs. Barely any cushioning on the bed. Felt like I was sleeping on a spring board. Had a look at the mattress and it looked like the mattress was from the 80's Travelodge is not cheap, I don't know why they don't invest in better beds. All 3 i have stayed at have sucky beds. So I figured this is just the way it is. Won't stay again cos if I can't get a good night's sleep, what do I have. Next the walls are thin. I woke up in a shock Many tmes because everytime someone's left or entered their room I thought they were entering mine. U can hear people above your room prouncing about. Every move they make one can heare
