Christina truly went above and beyond as our waitress at Radisson Blu Edwardian Steak and Lobster restaurant. Her exceptional service was truly exemplary, making our dining experience truly memorable. Not only was she attentive and friendly, but her knowledge of the menu and recommendations truly enhanced our meal. Christina's warmth and professionalism added so much to our visit, and we left feeling truly satisfied and grateful for her top-notch service. She is a true asset to the Radisson Blu Edwardian team. I have spent years traveling the world and her service was the best I've ever experienced.
Spent 3 nights in this well-appointed hotel for the Mambocity salsa congress. Breakfast buffet was simple, but adequate. I wished there were more vegetarian options. Really nice decor in the common spaces, ample ballroom space. Multiple restaurants in the hotel, and ample restaurants deliver to the address. Recommended!Rooms: 5/5
A great hotel with great staff. The building is dated but of a high quality not seen in many modern buildings. Minutes from the airport. We ate in the bar, very good quality food, limited choice. We paid around £90 for two mains, a basic bottle of wine, and two small 125ml bottles of Heineken. I wouldn't like to work out how much the beer worked out per pint! Nothing on draft. BTW there is a McDonald's next door so you want to go cheap, you can. Many local buses from the bus station stop very near to this hotel so you can easily avoid having to use the very slow and expensive Hoppa and also avoid Taxis.
Enjoyed our stay. Room was good. Found it very irritating at breakfast that at 10.01am the toaster was turned off, bread and croissants cleared away. Breakfast was 6.30 to 10. We arrived at 9.30, waited 15 mins for eggs, and butter to be replenished, then to have everything cleared away while we were still eating was not on.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed and parked here prior to our flight from Heathrow T5. Parking and location are ideal, we caught an Uber to ther terminal for ease but I believe there is a shuttle bus available. The lobby and bar area of the hotel was lovely, a really cool vibe and decorated to a nice standard. Unfortunately the rooms don't really match the standard of the hotel entrance, restaurant and bar. The rooms are fine for one night prior to a flight, however the cleanliness wasn't amazing, when we arrived our toilet wasn't clean - however the reception staff were great and changed our room as soon as we asked for it to be cleaned. Overall for an airport hotel it was fine and I probably would stay again due to the ease of parking and getting to the airport. The staff were great as well.
For anyone with a sensitivity or allergy to fragrance or perfumes - this hotel used multiple very strongly perfumed air fresheners/cleaning products throughout the hotel and in individual rooms. I had to ask for the windows of my room to be opened FYI: you cannot open the windows yourself so it could be aired out as I wouldnt have been able to breathe in the room otherwise. Doing this and turning off the central air helped but if you have a strong sensitivity, I’d recommend you’d avoid this place. It’s a shame as a lovely hotel otherwise, staff were very accommodating and helpful. Room was good size, clean and good location.
We go here for steak and lobster, Christina is honestly the best host! Full of energy and fantastic vibes!! Lobster always delicious along with the croquettes. Love you, Christina!!! You're the best!
If going away at airport . good place to stay the bar does meals the restaurant Is overpriced for what you get the menu Limited. Will do similar tasks like but dinner out of dish on to plate . If you look on tv, only the meal guide is breakfast. You can not take bag in
5 stars rating for the personnel of this hotel. Staff is very kind and helpful. I would like to point out courtesy and professional service of Mr. Peter who brings positive energy and always has a smile on his face.Service: 5/5
The hotel reception is beautiful. Lovely dessert in my room when I arrived which was lovely! I was given a complimentary mocktail as I was given the wrong closing time for the spa so I wasn’t able to use the facilities at the time. But it’s okay, I ended up going in the morning after my amazing breakfast! The room was spotless and great tv apps to watch films so at least it wasn’t just free-view channels. I will definitely be staying again! All the staff were very polite :
