Decent airport hotel if you need a room for a night or two. Room was spacious on the 2nd floor but no natural light in my unit due to the building next door being kissing distance. Bathroom was very good and modern. Usual amenities like shower gel and shampoo provided. Bed was large and comfy - got a decent nights sleep. Not ideal if you’re wanting to travel into central London as you’ll have to take a bus or taxi back to Heathrow to catch the underground.
There are better hotels on the street. The one bonus is that it is a bit separated from the bath road hotel strip. Also, there is a trail into the neighborhood and local parks. The evening reception in the lounge was just the bare minimum. It could use an update.Rooms: 3/5
Transit hotel. Rooms are very clean but something is missing for a full star score. A bit austere overall for a Sheraton. But the location is hard to beat for airport proximity. Did like all the mobility options and suggestions.Rooms: 4/5
I stayed for 4 nights. Positives - not expensive, clean lots of Ubers close by. Negatives - No free shuttle bus from the airport. I honestly cannot remember the last airport hotel that did not offer this service. Restaurant and bar closed 2hrs earlier than stated on the Marriot app. Airport hotels should really be 24hrs but at the very least until midnight. Thankfully deliveroo fed me that night. Poor quality pillows. Personal bugbear. Messed up my bill at the end by taking payment before I checked out from my personal card on the account and not my business card as requested. Housekeeping knocked on my door and woke me up to service the room despite the privacy tag on my door. You get an amazing member of staff followed by a poor one which sums up the hotel. Inconsistent.
Staff was extremely courteous and I was amazed at the low price for such a geographically advantageous location. The room was very spacious, the bed was a relief after hours of driving, and the hotel in general was extremely clean and inviting. The hotel was less than 10 minutes from a petrol station AND the car rental drop off. Could not have been more happy with my brief stay.
It's nice that it's close to the airport but it's bad because it's close to the airport. The noise of the planes doesn't come through too badly, though. If you're taking the shuttle back to terminal 5, be aware it's still a 30-minute ride because they stop at like 5 hotels on the route, and it cost the same as a taxi if you're traveling with someone.
Stayed here before a flight, selected by a colleague due to being where the hire car was dropped off. Hotel was clean, well maintained and very busy. Rooms OK, a bit small otherwise pretty much same as for any big chain hotel. Comfy bed but no bath, just a shower. Restaurant was expensive and disappointing. Steak was basically tasteless. Breakfast was a poor as well. Don't bother with the 20% off unless you signup the day before - bit of a scam IMO.
Came here for one night on a London theatre break. Fast and efficient check in for a coach party. Clean, modern room with free WiFi, safe and USB ports for phone charging. Very modern bathroom with walk in shower. Very quiet rooms considering we were next to Heathrow Airport. Usual buffet breakfast catering for all food requirements. Ideal for travelling to and from Heathrow or for access to London. Friendly, helpful staff. No complaints.
Stayed at the Sheraton on business. Absolutely lovely hotel! Rooms were of a great standard and comfortable. Air conditioning worked perfectly. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly good for a Cast Iron sometimes the steaks can be hit or miss at Marriotts, but they were definitely a hit here and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Club Lounge was also comfortable and was well-stocked with a selection of soft drinks and canapes during happy hour. Special mention to the bar staff in the Discovery Bar for their great suggestions on both food and drinks, and the general manager who took time out of her day to check my stay was all up to standard when I was checking out. Impeccable service. Worth noting the TV in the exec room I stayed in is recessed into the wall, so if you travel with a chromecast or firetv stick for entertainment, you may have trouble plugging it in. But not a dealbreaker. All in all, a perfect stay. Absolutely zero complaints. Will definitely stay here again next time i'm in the area
This building is certainly from the 1940s, terribly outdated. You can see immense amounts mold right at the entrance canopy. “Good” for air travel staff to stay due to the proximity to T5 but why would want the public ever have a good reason to come here?
