Decent sleeping place. Comfortable bed, clean spacious bathroom, cooking and washing facilities. Access poor despite lift I visited with a toddler and struggled with buggy. I found washing machine with dryer extremely useful. Price not too bad. Good walking distance both to town centre and to the seafront. Place quiet. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Floors not exactly clean, I missed a rug when stepping out of bed. I would recommend it nonetheless.
Nice modernisation and plenty of room. Love the second bedroom for the children complete with TV. What i didn't like was it didn't feel clean once we entered the apartment. Glad I brought antibacterial wipes. Smelly drain smell in bathroom was horrible. Would have been perfect bar the lack of cleanliness/disinfect. Could borrow a hairdryer which was great. Reception staff friendly enough.
The apartments were ok for a nights stay, things were broken as some reviewers mentioned. The checkin process was horrible. They asked for £50 deposit at checkin which was never returned on checkout even after multiple follow ups. Not recommended.
Check in went fine. Asked if I wanted to pay an additional £5 for an upgraded room sure why not?. The upgraded room had broken glass scattered everywhere which means the room wasn't cleaned prior to our stay. Our new room that we moved too didn't have the same "perks" our upgraded room had. The windows wouldn't open and it was extremely hot. The bed and facilities were okay.
We had issues with the management on arrival, however the location, room and other facilities were good while lacking any finesse or noisy large fridge in the bedroom, kitchen very basically equipped. Our room was floored with marble tiles, that while looking ok are very cold and sometimes slippery to walk on. We did enjoy our stay!
We came to Eastbourne for a hen do and didn’t know what to expect when arriving at the hotel. We were greeted by friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure we happy. Sarah in particular was very helpful and lovely. The whole place had been newly renovated to a high standard and we felt like we were in a different country with the beautiful marble tiled floors. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the outside of the building is stunning with original sash windows. I couldn’t recommend it enough and we’re even planning to come back in July!
The room was nice and clean though certain items were already broken a cracked wineglass and a door handle in the bathroom barely hanging on. I could head the dog running upstairs and the young people going out to smoke in front of my window on the first night. To be fair the staff dealt very well with the people coming down to smoke because it didn’t happen for the rest of my stay. My biggest issue was that I’d paid my deposit but still didn’t get it back after 3 weeks. I then called in and was told that their records were lost and that I’d be refunded if i could provide via text the details of my stay. I received half of my damage deposit and when I enquired about the rest of it they said they would check and get back to me. 3 days later on I am still trying to call in but nobody picks up. Unprofessional.
I am giving 1 star I can't give less, on a positive the apartments were clean. However apartments are not as described and customer service is terrible! They are not 2 bed room apartments but rather 2 beds in the same room. They have also charged me for making the room dirty which we did not as we literally got changed in there and the. Asked to be moved!! Avoid at all costs they are terrible and will steal your money fabricating reasons to fine you
Booked this last minute on day and was very easy to sort. Did need to park a bit further away as no spaces on road itself but there's free parking behind in adjacent roads. The staff were very nice and room was clean and love walk-in showers. We were given a bigger room with kitchenette and bigger bed for £5 extra but I'm pretty sure it was still a double bed.
The management of this hotel worked incredibly hard to ensure that we had a miserable stay. We arrived at noon to double-check our reservation before heading out for lunch. Between midday and 5 pm, the hotel staff went out of their way to remove our booking. When we arrived back at 5 pm, we found ourselves without anywhere to stay as they had overbooked the hotel. They finally found us a room in compensation. The room turned out to be halfway under construction with building materials strewn across the room and water damage through the carpet. Horrific experience, all in all, would not recommend.
