Lovely quaint place with engaging staff (seemed to be the owners, the way they were talking). Veggie food was nice to have for a change and not too bad, but ultimately not too great either. Certainly worth a visit if you haven't been though.

Yum! Glad we waited for a table even though it was pouring outside. Black beans on toast were very tasty, the cake taster (a cake flight!) even more so

Small but mighty. Funny staff make it very much their own. Flapjack fans rejoice new recipes daily and chilli on a hunk of brown that acted like a duvet on a cold day.

Had lovely meal "quiche" at this friendly little cafe.found it by chance. As had dogs with us.will use again when in ambleside.picked up a FREE canvas printed shopping bag!! Very nice. Still some left.A real gem .
