Be aware - now they are in administration the staff are Rude, unhelpful and make their own refund policy up to avoid doing anything. You'd do better going to Amazon - Which is the exact reason the company got into issues, Better quality and lower prices than the overpriced poor quality items offered here.

STAFF REVIEW: For someone that has worked in this business for many many years the MANAGEMENT treat staff like a piece of dirt. Company is not worth working for, nor is it worth buying from. My advice is buy from Amazon, Better customer service. a lot cheaper and if you ever have issues with the product then you won't get hassled.

It's a genuine shame what has happened to maplins. About a year a ago they had a genuine no quibble money back guarantee where like Lakeland you could try something and if it didn't work as advertised you could being it back. That's gone. Because you know, amazon doesn't represent that much of a threat to them. I've just spent £200 on something they refuse to take back. Despite still claiming to have a no quibble money back guarantee. It's a lie. Don't believe it. This store still has some really helpful genuine kids who want to help. It also has some really rude ones and a deputy manager who doesn't care. At all. It's not interested in its customers anymore. I would advise going to anywhere rather than here now by which I mean amazon obviously. A shop which lies to its customers has about two years left. Avoid this place like the plague.

3-5 days delivery stated on the website. Be aware that you need to tag 3 days on to this for them to scratch their arses before despatching your order. Total 1 week for delivery on a stock item. Absolute joke

Good for last minute/urgent electronic needs. Has a wide range of items and more often than not meets my requirement. Most of the staff are happy, helpful and know their tech. All in all it's a pretty good shop!
