Awful. Poorly made sofa. Was faulty when delivered and every time someone comes out to "fix" it, they bodge job it and another problem happens and the original problem comes back. For almost 5 years they are still coming out to "fix" it. It's still not fixed. Plus I always have to wait 6-8 weeks for a part that will apparently fix the problem. but it never works and they end up removing the part. They just keep delaying after delaying.
I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM HERE AGAIN. AND I'M MAKING SURE NO FRIENDS OR FAMILY BUY FORM HERE EITHER.

If I had the option to give negative ranking I would have given that.
You can read my husband's review down and I am now even tired of writing because DFS guys are pathetic, non-professional, non-trained, non-committed, you can actually add all non-s to them.
@DFS: If you want a sound IT system we can provide you that (for free if you want because we want to help the poor), if you want training on marketing & sales we can provide you that too.
But please please please either improve your service or let yourself go into darkness as Nokia and Blackberry.
Overall, my recommendation is NEVER WASTE EVEN A SINGLE PENNY ON DFS, they are the worst sofa guys in the market.
In summary,
NOT RECOMMENDED

Worst company, worst service.
DFS is a classic example of what not a company should be.
I had ordered a £1400 (paid in cash and in full as advance) sofa in Jan 2nd week 2018 and the delivery date promised was early March (I assume 2018 only ha ha).
So, it's April now and I haven't got my sofa yet. Absolutely no communication from these guys - no email, no phone.
Fine, I tried to call the DFS Milton Keynes store from where I had ordered my sofa, and as expected the call got answered - not once, not twice, but I called atleast 99 times and I tried calling all 7 days a week, no response at all.
Sent email to these i*****, no reply again.
Fine, I called their customer care too who didn't have any status on the order, they blamed their IT systems (we know that all call center guys do that!). They promised a call back but alas I didn't get any call. And all this process repeated over 2 weeks with no result.
And mind it, I have been tracking my order online on their site, and it says that it is "under production".
Ok, now someone would say why the f*** I didn't go to the store itself. Fine, went there, again got very lethargic response - no status update, blaming the IT systems etc. The only silver lining was that I got promised a beggar (loaner) sofa to be delivered to me till the time they find the status of my actual delivery, again no response till the date the loaner sofa was to be delivered, and finally this also not delivered. Again went back to the store, again very lethargic response. And believe me, all this when their area manager was the one dealing our case!
Come on guys, be professional, don't blame bad weather and IT systems. I am sure it's pretty good weather in China from where you source all your low-grade stuff.
Ok, so now I am tired, and working out the options to get my refund or to file a case in the consumer forum.
I would recommend avoiding DFS and after all there are so many good companies in the market with marvelous sofas and fantastic service then why waste time on these c****.

Would never order from DFS ever again.
I would give zero starts if i could. Ordered the sofa absolutely fine in the Milton Keynes Branch, was told worst case delivery would be 3 weeks 5 days. On the 3 weeks 5 days got a call at 5pm to say there was a delay and wouldn't get the sofa until end of Feb. Rang back again and they then changed it to early march but offered us a loan sofa which we had to accept as ours was already sold. Now 3 weeks 3 days later i am still without any form of sofa. Was told that it was our fault it had taken so long to arrange a loan sofa as we had apparently declined it. They had 'apparently' tried ringing yet we had no missed calls and if we ever rang nobody would answer. Was due a loan sofa on Thursday, but due to the snow they couldnt. It was then rearranged for Monday, had numerous calls and texts to confirm it and even had a text with a time slot. Monday 5pm we rang and there was no record of us having this delivery. 2 days have now been taken off work and we are still without a sofa. After calling continuously for an hour we decided to go into the Branch we ordered from and the Manager there couldnt have cared less. Said we were on a list to ring yet at 6pm still had no call. And that they would deliver the loan sofa tomorrow, but seeing as they couldnt even give us a time there most likely wont even be anybody there. And to top it all off a measly £20 - £30 compensation for being 3weeks 3 days with no sofa. Was also told errors in delivery were very very rare, yet have already had 2 problems and they cant even gaurantee the delivery of our actual sofa.
And to anybody having problems and wishing to cancel their order i have spoken with ex DFS staff and no matter how many times they tell you you cant cancel IT, if you hound them enough you can!

Customer service when your in store to buy a sofa is good... because they want you to buy a sofa, as soon as you’ve paid and sorted your finance, customer service switches to poor, you have to chase up delivery, you are often told incorrect information. Beware is all I can say. Be prepared to have to hasstle them so they do something for you.
