This Chinese supermarket is far bigger inside, than it may appear from outside. It stocks a wide range of fresh fruit and veg, as well as having fresh fish and meat counters.nnThere's a huge range of Chinese food products, plus some homeware too. There are also food products from other Asian countries.nnThe shop is clean and tidy, and very well organised too, making it easy to find whatever you're looking for. There are plenty of staff around on the shop floor, and they are always happy to help.nnThere are bigger Chinese supermarkets in London and elsewhere in the UK, but this shop seems to sell many products which I've never found in any other shop and I've been to a lot of Chinese supermarkets!. This certainly gives the shop a very authentic feel.nnThere are usually only one or two staffed checkouts open, so service can be a little slow at times, especially if the queues are long. Even so, this is an excellent place to shop for Asian groceries, and prices are very reasonable too. There is free underground parking nearby at the Bang Bang Oriental/Morrisons car park.nTotally worth visiting.
This supermarket has everything an Asian cooking needs. Lot of varieties to choose from and neat arrangement of groceries too. Staff support could be better when customers ask for help, well I approached two people and neither as I would expect support in terms of customer but maybe that’s just happened to me.nnFresh fruits and exotic veggies all can be found here.definitely better than the other loon fung I visited in London although bigger.nnYou also find fresh fish inside along with regular frozen meat.nnI am giving 4 stars because of the staff support I felt could have been better.
I used to visit this store mainly because of its convenient location near my home. However, I often experienced impolite service at the checkout counter, which made my shopping experience unpleasant.nnThankfully, during my recent two visits, I encountered a Cantonese-speaking female staff member named Mon, who completely changed my impression. She overheard me speaking Cantonese with my family and kindly approached to introduce new arrivals and special offers. Her helpful and friendly attitude made my shopping experience much more enjoyable.nnI also noticed that Mon was very proactive in helping other customers who spoke different languages, especially when they had questions about seafood. It’s rare to find staff who are so attentive and multilingual — I truly appreciate her service!
Yesterday was my first visit to this store, spent like half an hour in the store. It was really cool I found so many items I needed and the Chinese new year cake before Chinese New year. They also have other Asian food item like Japanese and Korean/ Thai/Malaysian food and sauces, lots of Asian vegetables. / fresh cut meat and fresh corn fed chicken in good price/pre cooked Chinese bbq/ hot pot items etc.nnThey have nice fresh thick shitake mushroom in good price that are more flavorful than the others which I can't buy in many other places like the flavourless ones you can get in local supermarket. That is something I was looking for.nnAsian style Mango pancakes were nice. Those Chinese herbal soup packs are real nice and convenient saved my journey to China Town to look for bits.nnOut of curiosity I got the self heating meal to try it out it seems convenient. They are alright.nnI just wish they would do deliveroo too, that would be real convenient. Will come purchase again looking forward to see new exciting items every time I come.
Oh my gosh, this is one of my favourite Asian supermarket in London. This supermarket located in Colindale and it’s really near to where I live, so therefore I don’t have to go to Chinatown to buy any Asian ingredients for cooking. This place has different range of brands from all over Asia. The place is easy to find. All of their stocks are pretty organise and easy to be located. You can find different type of noodles here. My favourite section of this place is the pastry section. My favourite pastry is the mango pancakes and you must try it. The place is pretty clean and hygienic. The staff are super helpful and very friendly, I will definitely come back again to this place. If you live in a local area you’d be saving a lot of time to shop all of your Asian ingredients at this place.
